  • Jude 1:23 - Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.
  • 2 Corinthians 6:4 - In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.
  • 1 Peter 1:17 - And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as “temporary residents.”
  • Romans 11:20 - Yes, but remember—those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.
  • 2 Corinthians 2:6 - Most of you opposed him, and that was punishment enough.
  • 1 Timothy 5:21 - I solemnly command you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus and the highest angels to obey these instructions without taking sides or showing favoritism to anyone.
  • 1 Timothy 5:22 - Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
  • 2 Timothy 2:15 - Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
  • Psalms 2:11 - Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.
  • Romans 14:18 - If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too.
  • Titus 3:8 - This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone.
  • 2 Corinthians 7:7 - His presence was a joy, but so was the news he brought of the encouragement he received from you. When he told us how much you long to see me, and how sorry you are for what happened, and how loyal you are to me, I was filled with joy!
