  • Acts of the Apostles 19:9 - But some became stubborn, rejecting his message and publicly speaking against the Way. So Paul left the synagogue and took the believers with him. Then he held daily discussions at the lecture hall of Tyrannus.
  • Acts of the Apostles 19:10 - This went on for the next two years, so that people throughout the province of Asia—both Jews and Greeks—heard the word of the Lord.
  • Acts of the Apostles 20:1 - When the uproar was over, Paul sent for the believers and encouraged them. Then he said good-bye and left for Macedonia.
  • Acts of the Apostles 20:2 - While there, he encouraged the believers in all the towns he passed through. Then he traveled down to Greece,
  • Acts of the Apostles 20:3 - where he stayed for three months. He was preparing to sail back to Syria when he discovered a plot by some Jews against his life, so he decided to return through Macedonia.
  • 1 Timothy 4:11 - Teach these things and insist that everyone learn them.
  • Revelation 2:14 - “But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin.
  • Acts of the Apostles 18:19 - They stopped first at the port of Ephesus, where Paul left the others behind. While he was there, he went to the synagogue to reason with the Jews.
  • 1 Timothy 4:6 - If you explain these things to the brothers and sisters, Timothy, you will be a worthy servant of Christ Jesus, one who is nourished by the message of faith and the good teaching you have followed.
  • 1 Timothy 5:7 - Give these instructions to the church so that no one will be open to criticism.
  • 1 Timothy 6:17 - Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.
  • Revelation 2:20 - “But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols.
  • Philippians 2:24 - And I have confidence from the Lord that I myself will come to see you soon.
  • Colossians 2:6 - And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.
  • Colossians 2:7 - Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
  • Colossians 2:8 - Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.
  • Colossians 2:9 - For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.
  • Colossians 2:10 - So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
  • Colossians 2:11 - When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature.
  • Titus 1:9 - He must have a strong belief in the trustworthy message he was taught; then he will be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong.
  • Titus 1:10 - For there are many rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others. This is especially true of those who insist on circumcision for salvation.
  • Titus 1:11 - They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money.
  • Galatians 1:6 - I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News
  • Galatians 1:7 - but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.
  • 1 Timothy 6:3 - Some people may contradict our teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life.
