  • 2 Thessalonians 1:11 - So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

  • 1 Peter 2:19 - For God is pleased when, conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment.
  • 1 Peter 2:20 - Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you.
  • Psalms 146:5 - But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.
  • James 1:12 - God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
  • Matthew 5:11 - “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.
  • Luke 6:22 - What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
  • 1 Peter 3:16 - But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.
  • 1 Peter 3:14 - But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.
