  • Luke 23:52 - This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
  • Luke 23:53 - Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen shroud and laid him in a tomb cut in stone, where no one had ever yet been laid.
  • Mark 16:2 - And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.

  • Luke 9:22 - saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”
  • Luke 24:5 - And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

  • Matthew 12:40 - For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
