Zechariah 第12章
The Lord Will Give Salvation
112:1 See Nah. 1:1The oracle of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, 12:1 See Isa. 42:5who stretched out the heavens and 12:1 Isa. 48:13founded the earth and 12:1 See Isa. 42:5formed the spirit of man within him:
2“Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem 12:2 Isa. 51:17, 22, 23a cup of staggering to 12:2 [ch. 14:2] all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem 12:2 [ch. 14:14]will also be against Judah.
312:3 ch. 13:1, 2, 4; 14:4, 6, 8; Isa. 2:11On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. 12:3 [Matt. 21:44; Luke 20:18] All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And 12:3 [See ver. 2above]all the nations of the earth will gather against it.
412:4 [See ver. 3above] On that day, declares the Lord, 12:4 [Ps. 76:6] I will strike every horse 12:4 [Deut. 28:28]with panic, and its rider 12:4 [Deut. 28:28]with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples 12:4 [Deut. 28:28]with blindness.
5Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’
612:6 [See ver. 3above] “On that day I will make the clans of Judah 12:6 [Jer. 5:14; Obad. 18] like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And 12:6 ch. 9:15they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while 12:6 ch. 2:4; 14:10, 11Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.
7“And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.
812:8 [See ver. 3above] On that day 12:8 ch. 9:15the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that 12:8 [Isa. 60:22] the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, 12:8 [1 Sam. 29:9; 2 Sam. 14:17, 20; 19:27]like the angel of the Lord, going before them.
Him Whom They Have Pierced
10“And 12:10 [Jer. 31:9] I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and 12:10 [Jer. 31:9] pleas for mercy, so that, 12:10 Cited John 19:37; [Rev. 1:7] when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, 12:10 Jer. 50:4they shall mourn for him, 12:10 Jer. 6:26; Amos 8:10as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn.
1112:11 [See ver. 3above] On that day 12:11 [Acts 2:37] the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great 12:11 [2 Chr. 35:24]as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
12The land shall mourn, 12:12 [ch. 7:3] each family12:12 Or clan; throughout verses 12–14 by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of 12:12 2 Sam. 5:14; Luke 3:31Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
13the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of 12:13 Num. 3:18the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves;
14and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.
