Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination[ is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation,[ even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord,“ for the day I will stand up to testify. I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them— all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger.

So wait for me to come as judge,” announces the Lord.“ Wait for the day I will stand up to witness against all sinners. I have decided to gather the nations. I will bring the kingdoms together. And I will pour out all my burning anger on them. The fire of my jealous anger will burn the whole world up.

“ Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord,“ for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.

Therefore, be patient,” says the Lord.“ Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy.

Therefore, wait for me— this is the LORD’s declaration— until the day I rise up for plunder. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, in order to pour out my indignation on them, all my burning anger; for the whole earth will be consumed by the fire of my jealousy.

“ Therefore wait for Me,” declares the Lord,“ For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.

“ Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord,“ Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All my fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy.

Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Therefore you must wait patiently for me,” says the LORD,“ for the day when I attack and take plunder. I have decided to gather nations together and assemble kingdoms, so I can pour out my fury on them– all my raging anger. For the whole earth will be consumed by my fiery anger.

“ Therefore wait for me”, says Yahweh,“ until the day that I rise up to the prey, for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour on them my indignation, even all my fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and[ for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Behold, as the eyes of servants[ look] unto the hand of their masters,[ and] as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes[ wait] upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all[ their] heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:

Say not thou, I will recompense evil;[ but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,[ which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see[ it].

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.

Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

And he saw that[ there was] no man, and wondered that[ there was] no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance[ for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.According to[ their] deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.I have long time holden my peace; I have been still,[ and] refrained myself:[ now] will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set[ him] in safety[ from him that] puffeth at him.

They have moved me to jealousy with[ that which is] not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with[ those which are] not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know[ it]?And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.Thus saith the Lord GOD;[ Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days[ many] years that I would bring thee against them?And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD,[ that] my fury shall come up in my face.For in my jealousy[ and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that[ are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that[ are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep,[ and] like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him[ cometh] my salvation.

The LORD[ is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul[ that] seeketh him.[ It is] good that[ a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.My soul[ waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning:[ I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth[ his] sheep from the goats:

For the vision[ is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all[ men, both] free and bond, both small and great.And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love[ is] strong as death; jealousy[ is] cruel as the grave: the coals thereof[ are] coals of fire,[ which hath a] most vehement flame.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation[ is] from him.

And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD[ is] a God of judgment: blessed[ are] all they that wait for him.

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I[ am] strong.Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness[ is] great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD[ is] near in the valley of decision.The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD[ will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
