Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord,“ for the day I will stand up to testify. I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them— all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger.

So wait for me to come as judge,” announces the Lord.“ Wait for the day I will stand up to witness against all sinners. I have decided to gather the nations. I will bring the kingdoms together. And I will pour out all my burning anger on them. The fire of my jealous anger will burn the whole world up.

“ Therefore wait for me,” declares the Lord,“ for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.

Therefore, be patient,” says the Lord.“ Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy.

Therefore, wait for me— this is the LORD’s declaration— until the day I rise up for plunder. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, in order to pour out my indignation on them, all my burning anger; for the whole earth will be consumed by the fire of my jealousy.

不過，主的日子要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣。在那日，諸天要轟然一聲地消逝，天體將被火焚燒而廢除，地和地上的作為也都將被暴露出來。

看哪！僕人的眼睛怎樣望著自己主人的手，婢女的眼睛怎樣望著自己主母的手，我們的眼睛也照樣望著耶和華我們的神，直到他恩待我們。

你不可說：「我要以惡報惡」；你當等候耶和華，他必拯救你。

其實它們是鬼魔的靈，能行奇蹟；它們出去到普天下的眾君王那裡，召集他們參與神、全能者大日子的戰爭。

你當等候耶和華，謹守他的道路；他就高舉你，使你繼承地土；惡人被剪除的時候，你必看到。

你要在耶和華面前靜默，耐心等候他；不要因那道路通達、施行詭計的人而心懷不平。

他看見沒有一人行善，他震驚沒有一人代求；於是他自己的膀臂為他帶來了拯救，他自己的公義扶助了他。他以公義為鎧甲穿上，以救恩為頭盔戴上，以報復為衣服穿上，以熱心為外袍披上。他必按照各人的行為報應他們：把怒火加給他的敵人，把報應加給他的仇敵，並向眾海島施行報應。

耶和華如同勇士出征，又像戰士激起熱心；他呼喊，大聲呐喊，戰勝仇敵。「我靜默不言，沉默克制，已經很久了；但現在我要大喊，像臨產的婦女那樣急促呼吸、喘氣。

耶和華說：「因為困苦人所受的迫害和貧窮人的呻吟，我現在要挺身而起，把他們安置在他們渴望的穩妥之地。」

那時主像從沉睡中醒過來，像勇士因酒而歡呼。他擊退了他的敵人，把永遠的羞辱加給他們。

我的靈魂靜默，唯獨等候神，我的救恩從他而來。

我等候耶和華——我的靈魂等候，我期盼他的話語；我的靈魂期盼主，勝過守夜的人期盼清晨，勝過守夜的人期盼清晨！

萬民都將被召集到他面前。他要把他們互相分別，就像牧人把綿羊從山羊中分別出來那樣，

隨後，我看見一位天使站在太陽中，對所有在空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喊說：「來吧，聚集起來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、軍官的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉，以及各種人的肉，包括自由人和奴隸，卑微人和尊貴人的肉。」接著，我看見那獸和地上的眾君王以及他們的軍兵聚集在一起，要與騎白馬的那一位和他的軍隊作戰。

我的靈魂哪，你要靜默，唯獨等候神，因為我的盼望從他而來。

雖然如此，耶和華卻等候著要恩待你們；因此，他會起來憐憫你們，因為耶和華是公正的神；所有等候他的，都是蒙福的！

所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。你們也當恆久忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主的來臨已經近了。
