I will gather those who are worried about the appointed feasts— They came from you, Zion; The disgrace of exile is a burden on them.

“ I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.

I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assembly, who were of thee; to whom the burden upon her was a reproach.

I will gather those who have been driven from the appointed festivals; they will be a tribute from you and a reproach on her.

“ As for those who grieve because they cannot attend the festivals– I took them away from you; they became tribute and were a source of shame to you.

I will remove those who grieve about the appointed feasts from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long,“ Where is your God?”These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival.

The roads to Zion mourn, for none come to the festival; all her gates are desolate; her priests groan; her virgins have been afflicted, and she herself suffers bitterly.

I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.

At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says the Lord.

Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and wandering all the precious things that were hers from days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the foe, and there was none to help her, her foes gloated over her; they mocked at her downfall.

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

For there our captors required of us songs, and our tormentors, mirth, saying,“ Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land?If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill!Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy!

And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head. And they shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!

And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
