I have heard the taunting of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, who have taunted my people and threatened their territory.

“我听见摩押人的毁谤和亚扪人的辱骂，就是毁谤我的百姓，自夸自大，侵犯他们的境界。”

我听见摩押毁谤，亚扪人辱骂；他们辱骂我的百姓，自夸自大，侵犯他们的疆土。”

以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说：“我听见了摩押人的毁谤和亚扪人的辱骂。他们毁谤我的子民，扬言侵占他们的土地。我凭自己的永恒起誓，摩押和亚扪必刺草丛生、盐坑遍地、永远荒废，如所多玛和蛾摩拉一样。我余下的子民必掳掠他们，我幸存的百姓必承受他们的土地。”

我听见了摩押人的辱骂之言，听见了亚扪人的毁谤之语，他们辱骂我的子民，又自夸自大侵犯他们的境界。

我聽見摩押人的毀謗和亞捫人的辱罵，就是毀謗我的百姓，自誇自大，侵犯他們的境界。

我聽見摩押毀謗，亞捫人辱罵；他們辱罵我的百姓，自誇自大，侵犯他們的疆土。」

我聽見摩押的嘲罵，和亞捫人的毁謗；他們怎樣嘲罵我的人民，自誇自大以侵犯他們的境界。

摩押之毀謗、亞捫人之詬辱、我聞之矣、彼詆我民、自大而侵其境、

摩押、亞捫、自高其心、凌辱我民、侵其接壤之所、我聞之矣、

摩押人、亞捫人、毀謗譏誚我民、或作摩押人毀謗我民亞捫人譏誚我民彼毀謗我民、自高自大、侵犯我民之境、我聞之矣、

“ I have heard the insults of Moab and the taunts of the Ammonites, who insulted my people and made threats against their land.

The Lord says,“ I have heard Moab make fun of my people. The Ammonites also laughed at them. They told them that bad things would happen to their land.

“ I have heard the taunts of Moab and the revilings of the Ammonites, how they have taunted my people and made boasts against their territory.

“ I have heard the taunts of the Moabites and the insults of the Ammonites, mocking my people and invading their borders.

“ I have heard the taunting of Moab And the abusive speech of the sons of Ammon, With which they have taunted My people And boasted against their territory.

“ I have heard the reproach of Moab, And the insults of the people of Ammon, With which they have reproached My people, And made arrogant threats against their borders.

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

I have heard the taunting of Moab and the insults of the Ammonites, who have taunted My people and threatened their territory.

“ I have heard Moab’s taunts and the Ammonites’ insults. They taunted my people and verbally harassed those living in Judah.

The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing the Ammonites for three crimes, even four, because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead in order to enlarge their territory.

About the Ammonites, this is what the LORD says: Does Israel have no sons? Is he without an heir? Why then has Milcom dispossessed Gad and his people settled in their cities?

Wasn’t Israel a laughingstock to you? Was he ever found among thieves? For whenever you speak of him you shake your head.”Abandon the towns! Live in the cliffs, residents of Moab! Be like a dove that nests inside the mouth of a cave.We have heard of Moab’s pride, great pride, indeed— his insolence, arrogance, pride, and haughty heart.

They say,“ Come, let’s wipe them out as a nation so that Israel’s name will no longer be remembered.”For they have conspired with one mind; they form an alliance against you—the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre.

Say to the Ammonites,‘ Hear the word of the Lord GOD: This is what the Lord GOD says: Because you said,“ Aha!” about my sanctuary when it was desecrated, about the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and about the house of Judah when they went into exile,therefore I am about to give you to the people of the east as a possession. They will set up their encampments and pitch their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and Ammon a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the LORD.“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and rejoiced over the land of Israel with wholehearted contempt,therefore I am about to stretch out my hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and eliminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the LORD.“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Because Moab and Seir said,“ Look, the house of Judah is like all the other nations.”Therefore I am about to expose Moab’s flank beginning with its frontier cities, the splendor of the land: Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim.I will give it along with Ammon to the people of the east as a possession, so that Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.So I will execute judgments against Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD.

This is what the Lord GOD says: Because the enemy has said about you,“ Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,”’
