住在沿海地带的人，基列提的国民哪！你们有祸了。这是耶和华攻击你们的话：“非利士人之地迦南啊！我必毁灭你，使你那里没有人居住。

爾海濱居民、其哩人、耶和華有言、禍將及矣、爾迦南乃非利士人地、我必加殲滅、靡有孑遺、

爾海濱居民、基利提人、禍必臨爾、迦南之非利士地、主有言告爾、主有言告爾或作主向爾有言必毀滅爾、居民無存、居民無存或作俾無居民

Woe to you who live by the sea, you Kerethite people; the word of the Lord is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines. He says,“ I will destroy you, and none will be left.”

所以主耶和華如此說：我必伸手攻擊非利士人，剪除基利提人，滅絕沿海剩下的居民。

耶和華既吩咐你攻擊亞實基倫和海邊之地，他已經派定你，焉能止息呢？

以色列人哪，你們全家是我從埃及地領上來的，當聽耶和華攻擊你們的話：

從埃及前的西曷河往北，直到以革倫的境界，就算屬迦南人之地。有非利士人五個首領所管的迦薩人、亞實突人、亞實基倫人、迦特人、以革倫人之地，並有南方亞衛人之地。

貧寒人的長子必有所食；窮乏人必安然躺臥。我必以饑荒治死你的根；你所餘剩的人必被殺戮。

他們看出這比喻是指着他們說的，就想要捉拿他，只是懼怕百姓，於是離開他走了。

所留下的就是非利士的五個首領和一切迦南人、西頓人，並住黎巴嫩山的希未人，從巴力‧黑們山直到哈馬口。

以色列家啊，要聽我為你們所作的哀歌：

我－耶和華已經除滅列國的民；他們的城樓毀壞。我使他們的街道荒涼，以致無人經過；他們的城邑毀滅，以致無人，也無居民。

只是我的言語和律例，就是所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們列祖嗎？他們就回頭，說：『萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的行動作為向我們怎樣行，他已照樣行了。』」
