趁命令还没有发出，日子还没有像风前的糠秕一般吹过，耶和华的烈怒还没有临到你们，耶和华忿怒的日子还没有临到你们以前，你们要聚集起来！

即於命令未出、光陰未逝、其速如糠、耶和華烈怒未降、忿恚之日未至以先、會集而來、

其日伊邇、流光荏苒、譬諸飄風、簸揚秕糠、我命未出、爾當自省、而悔厥過、

他發憤恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的憤怒如火傾洩而出，磐石因他崩裂。

因此，他們必如早晨的雲霧，又如速散的露水，如被狂風吹離禾場的糠粃，又如煙囪冒出的煙。

列邦喧鬧，如同大水滔滔；但上帝一斥責，他們就遠遠躲避，他們被追趕，如同山上風前的糠粃，又如暴風前的碎稭；

耶和華發盡他的憤怒，傾倒他的烈怒，用火焚燒錫安，燒燬錫安的根基。

惡人並不是這樣，卻像糠粃被風吹散。

「你們要等候我，直到我興起擄掠的日子；因為我已定意招聚列邦，聚集列國，將我的惱怒，我一切的烈怒，都傾倒在它們身上。我妒忌的火必燒滅全地。這是耶和華說的。

他們何嘗像風前的碎稭，如暴風颳去的糠粃呢？

耶和華如此說：看哪，我必照着猶大王所讀那書上的一切話，降禍於這地方和其上的居民。因為他們離棄我，向別神燒香，用他們手所做的一切惹我發怒，所以我的憤怒必向這地方發作，總不止息。』

當耶和華發怒的日子，他們的金銀不能救自己；耶和華妒忌的火必燒滅全地，要向地上所有的居民施行可怕的毀滅。

說：「他要來臨的應許在哪裏呢？因為從列祖長眠以來，萬物與起初創造的時候仍是一樣啊！」他們故意忘記這事，就是從太古憑上帝的話有了天，並由水而出和藉着水而成的地；藉着水，當時的世界被水淹沒而消滅了。但現在的天地還是憑着上帝的話存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。親愛的，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是：主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主沒有遲延他的應許，就如有人以為他是遲延，其實他是寬容你們，不願一人沉淪，而是人人都來悔改。但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。

然而，耶和華向猶大所發猛烈的怒氣仍不止息，因為瑪拿西種種的惡事激怒了他。耶和華說：「我也必將猶大從我面前趕出，如同趕出以色列一樣。我必撇棄我從前所選擇的這城耶路撒冷和我所說我的名必留在那裏的殿。」

天地要廢去，我的話卻絕不廢去。」

耶和華的怒氣必不轉消，直到他心中所定的成就了，實現了。末後的日子，你們要全然明白。

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，那日臨近，勢如燒着的火爐，凡狂傲的和行惡的都如碎稭，在那日被燒盡，根與枝條無一存留。但是，對你們敬畏我名的人，必有公義的太陽出現，其光線有醫治的能力。你們必出來跳躍如圈裏的牛犢。

「你們要努力進窄門。我告訴你們，將來有許多人想要進去，卻不能。等到一家之主起來關了門，你們才站在外面敲門，說：『主啊，給我們開門！』他要回答你們說：『我不認識你們，不知道你們是哪裏來的。』那時，你們要說：『我們在你面前吃過喝過，你也在我們的街上教導過人。』他要對你們說：『我告訴你們，我不知道你們是哪裏來的。你們這一切不義的人，給我走開！』你們要看見亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和眾先知都在上帝的國裏，你們卻被趕到外面，在那裏要哀哭切齒了。

因為他是我們的上帝；我們是他草場的百姓，是他手中的羊。惟願你們今天聽他的話！你們不可硬着心，像在米利巴，就是在曠野瑪撒的日子。

「你們忘記上帝的，要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，無人搭救。

看哪，我使你成為全新的打穀機，齒輪銳利；你要把山嶺打得粉碎，使岡陵如同糠粃。你要簸揚它們，風要將它們吹去；旋風要颳散它們。你卻要以耶和華為喜樂，因以色列的聖者誇耀。

他們卻嘲笑上帝的使者，藐視他的話，譏誚他的先知，以致耶和華向他的百姓大發烈怒，甚至無法可救。所以，耶和華使迦勒底人的王來攻擊他們，在他們聖殿裏用刀殺了他們的壯丁，不憐憫他們的少男少女、老人長者。耶和華把所有的人都交在他手裏。

當親吻兒子，免得他發怒，你們就在半途中滅亡，因為他的怒氣快要發作。凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

我－耶和華說話，所說的必定實現，不再躭延。你們這悖逆之家啊，你們在世的日子，我所說的話必定實現。這是主耶和華說的。」
