“ I will destroy everything from the face of the earth,” says the LORD.

耶和华说：“我必从地上除灭万类。

耶和华说：“我必从地面上彻底除灭万物。

耶和华说：“我必从地面上彻底除灭万物。

“我必毁灭地上的一切。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“我必把万物从地上完全除灭。”

耶和華說：我必從地上除滅萬類。

耶和華說：「我必從地面上徹底除滅萬物。

耶和華說：「我必從地面上徹底除滅萬物。

「我必毀滅地上的一切。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：“我必把萬物從地上完全除滅。”

永恆主發神諭說：『我必從地面上徹底掃滅一切。

耶和華曰、我必盡滅萬類於地、

我於斯土、必使百物殄絶、

曰、我於斯地、必除滅萬類、

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” announces the Lord.

“ I will utterly sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” says the Lord.

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the LORD’s declaration.

“ I will completely remove all things From the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will utterly consume everything From the face of the land,” Says the Lord;

I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah.

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the Lord’s declaration.

I will utterly consume all[ things] from off the land, saith the LORD.

I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.

“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I am about to bring disaster on this place and its residents, the details of which are recorded in the scroll which the king of Judah has read.This will happen because they have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to other gods, angering me with all the idols they have made. My anger will ignite against this place and will not be extinguished!’”

The earth will become desolate because of what its inhabitants have done.

“ This is what you must say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, those living in the ruins will die by the sword, those in the open field I will give to the wild beasts for food, and those who are in the strongholds and caves will die of disease.I will turn the land into a desolate ruin; her confident pride will come to an end. The mountains of Israel will be so desolate no one will pass through them.Then they will know that I am the LORD when I turn the land into a desolate ruin because of all the abominable deeds they have committed.’

This took place to fulfill the LORD’s message delivered through Jeremiah. The land experienced its sabbatical years; it remained desolate for seventy years, as prophesied.

“ I, the LORD, also solemnly assert:‘ King Zedekiah of Judah, his officials, and the people who remain in Jerusalem or who have gone to live in Egypt are like those bad figs. I consider them to be just like those bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.I will bring such disaster on them that all the kingdoms of the earth will be horrified. I will make them an object of reproach, a proverbial example of disaster. I will make them an object of ridicule, an example to be used in curses. That is how they will be remembered wherever I banish them.I will bring war, starvation, and disease on them until they are completely destroyed from the land I gave them and their ancestors.’”

For I, the LORD, affirm that I will soon give the order and bring them back to this city. They will fight against it and capture it and burn it down. I will also make the towns of Judah desolate so that there will be no one living in them.”’”

So the LORD said,“ I will wipe humankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth– everything from humankind to animals, including creatures that move on the ground and birds of the air, for I regret that I have made them.”

So take warning, Jerusalem, or I will abandon you in disgust and make you desolate, a place where no one can live.”This is what the LORD who rules over all said to me:“ Those who remain in Israel will be like the grapes thoroughly gleaned from a vine. So go over them again, as though you were a grape harvester passing your hand over the branches one last time.”

I replied,“ How long, sovereign master?” He said,“ Until cities are in ruins and unpopulated, and houses are uninhabited, and the land is ruined and devastated,

Tell King Jehoiakim of Judah,‘ The LORD says,“ You burned the scroll. You asked Jeremiah,‘ How dare you write in this scroll that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land and wipe out all the people and animals on it?’”
