I will utterly consume all[ things] from off the land, saith the LORD.

耶和华说：“我必从地上除灭万类。

耶和華說：“我必把萬物從地上完全除滅。”

永恆主發神諭說：『我必從地面上徹底掃滅一切。

耶和華曰、我必盡滅萬類於地、

我於斯土、必使百物殄絶、

曰、我於斯地、必除滅萬類、

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” announces the Lord.

“ I will utterly sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” says the Lord.

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the LORD’s declaration.

“ I will completely remove all things From the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

“ I will utterly consume everything From the face of the land,” Says the Lord;

I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah.

I will completely sweep away everything from the face of the earth— this is the Lord’s declaration.

“ I will destroy everything from the face of the earth,” says the LORD.

I will utterly sweep away everything from the surface of the earth, says Yahweh.

Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof,[ even] all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.

Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;[ As] I live, surely they that[ are] in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that[ is] in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that[ be] in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.Then shall they know that I[ am] the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths:[ for] as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.

And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for[ their] hurt,[ to be] a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited.Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
