In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate;[ and] thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

Woe unto them that join house to house,[ that] lay field to field, till[ there be] no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!In mine ears[ said] the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate,[ even] great and fair, without inhabitant.

Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.They have made it desolate,[ and being] desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth[ it] to heart.The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the[ one] end of the land even to the[ other] end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain,[ but] shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled,[ and] my curtains in a moment.
