耶路撒冷中有數人、跏趺危坐、若酒澄清、渣滓在底、自謂耶和華不加以賞罰、當是時我必燭照而遍索之、以治其罪、

當是日我必以燈巡察耶路撒冷、其中有人安然無懼、若酒澄清、渣滓在底、若酒澄清渣滓在底或作若酒在渣滓上心中曰、主不降福、亦不降災、如是之人、我必懲罰、

And at that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who settle down comfortably, who say to themselves: The LORD will do nothing— good or bad.

And it will come about at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And I will punish the people Who are stagnant in spirit, Who say in their hearts,‘ The Lord will not do good nor harm!’

“ And it shall come to pass at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And punish the men Who are settled in complacency, Who say in their heart,‘ The Lord will not do good, Nor will He do evil.’

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps; and I will punish the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, neither will he do evil.

And at that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish the men who settle down comfortably, who say to themselves: The Lord will not do good or evil.

And it shall come to pass at that time,[ that] I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

At that time I will search through Jerusalem with lamps. I will punish the people who are entrenched in their sin, those who think to themselves,‘ The LORD neither rewards nor punishes.’

It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart,“ Yahweh will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

在錫安生活安逸舒適的人啊，你們有禍了！在撒瑪利亞山上自覺無憂的人啊，你們有禍了！你們是列國之首以色列的顯要，以色列人都仰望你們。

「摩押自幼常享安逸，從未被擄到別處，好像沉澱的酒沒有被從這缸倒到那缸，味道依舊，香氣未變。

我看見主站在祭壇旁，祂說：「要擊打柱頂，使殿的根基震動；要打碎柱頂，使殿宇坍塌壓死眾人。僥倖生還的，我要用刀劍殺掉，沒有一個能逃脫，沒有一個能倖免。即使他們挖洞鑽進陰間，我也要把他們揪出來；即使他們爬上高天，我也要把他們拉下來；即使他們藏在迦密山的峰頂，我也要去搜尋，捉住他們；即使他們潛到海底，我也要派海蛇去吞咬他們；

祂回答說：「以色列和猶大人罪大惡極，遍地是血腥，滿城是冤屈，他們說，『耶和華丟棄了這片土地，祂看不見我們。』

並說：「耶和華看不見，雅各的上帝不會知道。」

你們說，『事奉上帝是虛空的。遵從上帝的吩咐，在萬軍之耶和華面前痛悔有什麼益處？如今我們稱狂傲的人有福，因為作惡的人凡事順利，他們雖然試探上帝，卻仍能逃過災禍。』」

耶和華說：「看啊，我要召來許多漁夫把他們捕撈上來，我要召來許多獵人去各山嶺和岩穴獵取他們。因為我鑒察他們的一切行為，他們無法隱藏，他們的罪惡逃不過我的眼晴。

「主要降臨的應許在哪裡？從我們的祖先長眠地下直到現在，萬物依舊與創世之初一樣。」

它們像瓜園中的稻草人，不能說話，不能行走，需要人搬運。你們不要怕它們，它們既不能害人，也不能助人。」

全能者是誰，竟要我們事奉祂？向祂禱告有何益處？』

他們自言自語：「上帝忘記了，祂掩面不理這些事！」耶和華啊，求你起來！上帝啊，求你舉手施罰，不要忘記無助的人！惡人為何輕視上帝，以為上帝不會追究呢？

愚昧人心裡想：「沒有上帝。」他們全然敗壞，行為邪惡，無人行善。

他們說：「讓上帝快點完成祂的工作，好讓我們看看；讓以色列的聖者早點實現祂的計劃，好讓我們知道。」

我要擊殺她的爪牙，使眾教會都知道我洞察人的心思意念，我要照你們各人的行為對待你們。

以掃要被洗劫一空，他藏的珍寶要被搜去。
