I will encamp around my house against the army, that no one pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: for now I have seen with my eyes.

我將建營以環我室、抵禦敵軍、絕其往來、使暴虐者不復經行斯境、蓋我目顧之、○

敵之軍旅、往來斯土、我將扞衛我殿、恆加眷顧、毋許橫暴者經歷斯境、

我必扞衛我殿、有若四周列營、護之於敵軍往來之時、或作我必扞衛我家如在四圍列營保護不復為往來之敵軍所擾害使暴虐者不復經歷其境、因我目今眷顧之、

But I will encamp at my temple to guard it against marauding forces. Never again will an oppressor overrun my people, for now I am keeping watch.

But I will camp at my temple. I will guard it against enemy armies. No one will ever crush my people again. I will make sure it does not happen.

Then I will encamp at my house as a guard, so that none shall march to and fro; no oppressor shall again march over them, for now I see with my own eyes.

I will guard my Temple and protect it from invading armies. I am watching closely to ensure that no more foreign oppressors overrun my people’s land.

Then I will surround my temple to protect it like a guard from anyone crossing back and forth; so no one will cross over against them anymore as an oppressor, for now I myself have seen it.

You will be established in righteousness. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid, and far from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.

Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor desolation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

They will come and sing in the height of Zion, and will flow to the goodness of Yahweh, to the grain, to the new wine, to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd. Their soul will be as a watered garden. They will not sorrow any more at all.

He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.

I won’t hide my face from them any more; for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”

I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,” says Yahweh your God.

Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.When he saw them, Jacob said,“ This is God’s army.” He called the name of that place Mahanaim.

Now, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.“ So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.

As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.”

It may be that Yahweh will look on the wrong done to me, and that Yahweh will repay me good for the cursing of me today.”

Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Yahweh will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Yahweh said,“ I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.But there Yahweh will be with us in majesty, a place of wide rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there.For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.

In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like Yahweh’s angel before them.

In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city. God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.

In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.

Yahweh will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, for over all the glory will be a canopy.

I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but Jerusalem will dwell safely.

Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

At the end of years they will join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south will come to the king of the north to make an agreement; but she will not retain the strength of her arm. He will also not stand, nor will his arm; but she will be given up, with those who brought her, and he who became the father of her, and he who strengthened her in those times.“ But out of a shoot from her roots one will stand up in his place, who will come to the army, and will enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and will deal against them, and will prevail.

In his days Pharaoh Necoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates; and king Josiah went against him; and Pharaoh Necoh killed him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.

I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.Then I asked,“ Where are you going?” He said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”Behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,and said to him,“ Run, speak to this young man, saying,‘ Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.For I,’ says Yahweh,‘ will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh;‘ for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.‘ Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’For Yahweh of Armies says:‘ For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for, behold, I come, and I will dwell within you,’ says Yahweh.Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”

“‘“ There will be no more a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.

His sons will wage war, and will assemble a multitude of great forces, which will come on, and overflow, and pass through. They will return and wage war, even to his fortress.“ The king of the south will be moved with anger, and will come out and fight with him, even with the king of the north. He will send out a great multitude, and the multitude will be given into his hand.The multitude will be lifted up, and his heart will be exalted. He will cast down tens of thousands, but he won’t prevail.The king of the north will return, and will send out a multitude greater than the former. He will come on at the end of the times, even of years, with a great army and with much substance.“ In those times many will stand up against the king of the south. Also the children of the violent among your people will lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they will fall.So the king of the north will come and cast up a mound, and take a well- fortified city. The forces of the south won’t stand, neither will his chosen people, neither will there be any strength to stand.But he who comes against him will do according to his own will, and no one will stand before him. He will stand in the glorious land, and destruction will be in his hand.

“ At the time of the end the king of the south will contend with him; and the king of the north will come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, with horsemen, and with many ships. He will enter into the countries, and will overflow and pass through.He will enter also into the glorious land, and many countries will be overthrown; but these will be delivered out of his hand: Edom, Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.He will also stretch out his hand on the countries. The land of Egypt won’t escape.But he will have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt. The Libyans and the Ethiopians will be at his steps.But news out of the east and out of the north will trouble him; and he will go out with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.He will plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.

They went up over the width of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.

As for both these kings, their hearts will be to do mischief, and they will speak lies at one table; but it won’t prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.Then he will return into his land with great wealth. His heart will be against the holy covenant. He will take action, and return to his own land.“ He will return at the appointed time, and come into the south; but it won’t be in the latter time as it was in the former.

Of Egypt: concerning the army of Pharaoh Necoh king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah.

I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you into Egypt.’

The word that Yahweh spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt.
