Then the Lord will appear over his people. His arrows will flash like lightning. The Lord and King will blow the trumpet of his thunder. He’ll march out like a storm in the south.

All these kings and their lands Joshua conquered in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!

Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.

The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

And the Egyptians said,“ Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

Part your heavens, Lord, and come down; touch the mountains, so that they smoke.Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy; shoot your arrows and rout them.

All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it.
