“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.

万军之耶和华如此说：将来必有年老的男女坐在耶路撒冷街上，因为年纪老迈就手拿拐杖。

必再次有年紀老邁、手拿拐杖的男女坐在耶路撒冷的街上。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘年老的男女必再坐在耶路撒冷的街上；他們因為年紀老邁，各人都手拿拐杖。

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：將來必再有年老男人和年老婦人在耶路撒冷的廣場上坐着；因為年紀大、個個都有扶杖在手。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：『年老的男人和女人必再次坐在耶路撒冷的廣場上，他們因年紀老邁，個個手拿拐杖；

萬軍之耶和華云、將有老夫老婦、坐於耶路撒冷之衢、各因壽高、手扶厥杖、

萬有之主耶和華又曰、有齒之士、年高之婦、將坐於耶路撒冷逵衢、因其年老、攜杖以行、

萬有之主如是云、老夫老婦、將復坐於耶路撒冷街衢、因壽高年邁、手攜杖以行、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

He continued,“ Once again old men and women will sit in the streets of Jerusalem. All of them will be using canes because they are old.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

The Lord of armies says this:‘ Old men and old women will again sit in the public squares of Jerusalem, each person with his staff in his hand because of age.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

The Lord of Hosts says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says,‘ Old men and women will once more live in the plazas of Jerusalem, each one leaning on a cane because of advanced age.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Then he died, an old man who had lived a long, full life.

No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering.

The time is coming when I will put an end to your family, so it will no longer serve as my priests. All the members of your family will die before their time. None will reach old age.

Our enemies rape the women in Jerusalem and the young girls in all the towns of Judah.Our princes are being hanged by their thumbs, and our elders are treated with contempt.Young men are led away to work at millstones, and boys stagger under heavy loads of wood.The elders no longer sit in the city gates; the young men no longer dance and sing.Joy has left our hearts; our dancing has turned to mourning.

You will go to the grave at a ripe old age, like a sheaf of grain harvested at the proper time!

“ No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!In those days people will live in the houses they build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards.Unlike the past, invaders will not take their houses and confiscate their vineyards. For my people will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will have time to enjoy their hard won gains.

“ O Lord, think about this! Should you treat your own people this way? Should mothers eat their own children, those they once bounced on their knees? Should priests and prophets be killed within the Lord’s Temple?“ See them lying in the streets— young and old, boys and girls, killed by the swords of the enemy. You have killed them in your anger, slaughtering them without mercy.“ You have invited terrors from all around, as though you were calling them to a day of feasting. In the day of the Lord’s anger, no one has escaped or survived. The enemy has killed all the children whom I carried and raised.”
