The Lord of armies says this:‘ Old men and old women will again sit in the public squares of Jerusalem, each person with his staff in his hand because of age.

万军之耶和华如此说：将来必有年老的男女坐在耶路撒冷街上，因为年纪老迈就手拿拐杖。

“万军之耶和华这样说：‘年老的男女必再坐在耶路撒冷的街上；他们因为年纪老迈，各人都手拿拐杖。

必再次有年紀老邁、手拿拐杖的男女坐在耶路撒冷的街上。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘年老的男女必再坐在耶路撒冷的街上；他們因為年紀老邁，各人都手拿拐杖。

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：將來必再有年老男人和年老婦人在耶路撒冷的廣場上坐着；因為年紀大、個個都有扶杖在手。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：『年老的男人和女人必再次坐在耶路撒冷的廣場上，他們因年紀老邁，個個手拿拐杖；

萬軍之耶和華云、將有老夫老婦、坐於耶路撒冷之衢、各因壽高、手扶厥杖、

萬有之主耶和華又曰、有齒之士、年高之婦、將坐於耶路撒冷逵衢、因其年老、攜杖以行、

萬有之主如是云、老夫老婦、將復坐於耶路撒冷街衢、因壽高年邁、手攜杖以行、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

He continued,“ Once again old men and women will sit in the streets of Jerusalem. All of them will be using canes because they are old.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age.

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

The Lord of Hosts says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says,‘ Old men and women will once more live in the plazas of Jerusalem, each one leaning on a cane because of advanced age.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

And Job died, an old man and full of days.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,

Behold, the days are coming when I will eliminate your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.

They violated the women in Zion, The virgins in the cities of Judah.Leaders were hung by their hands; Elders were not respected.Young men worked at the grinding mill, And youths staggered under loads of wood.Elders are absent from the gate, Young men from their music.The joy of our hearts has ended; Our dancing has been turned into mourning.

You will come to the grave at a ripe age, Like the stacking of grain in its season.

No longer will there be in it an infant who lives only a few days, Or an old person who does not live out his days; For the youth will die at the age of a hundred, And the one who does not reach the age of a hundred Will be thought accursed.They will build houses and inhabit them; They will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit.They will not build and another inhabit, They will not plant and another eat; For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

See, Lord, and look! With whom have You dealt this way? Should women really eat their children, The little ones who were born healthy? Should priest and prophet really be killed In the sanctuary of the Lord?On the ground in the streets Lie young and old; My virgins and my young men Have fallen by the sword. You have put them to death on the day of Your anger, You have slaughtered, without sparing.You called as on the day of an appointed feast My terrors on every side; And there was no one who survived or escaped On the day of the Lord’s anger. As for those whom I brought forth healthy and whom I raised, My enemy annihilated them.”
