Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with staff in hand because of great age.

万军之耶和华如此说：将来必有年老的男女坐在耶路撒冷街上，因为年纪老迈就手拿拐杖。

必再次有年紀老邁、手拿拐杖的男女坐在耶路撒冷的街上。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘年老的男女必再坐在耶路撒冷的街上；他們因為年紀老邁，各人都手拿拐杖。

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：將來必再有年老男人和年老婦人在耶路撒冷的廣場上坐着；因為年紀大、個個都有扶杖在手。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：『年老的男人和女人必再次坐在耶路撒冷的廣場上，他們因年紀老邁，個個手拿拐杖；

萬軍之耶和華云、將有老夫老婦、坐於耶路撒冷之衢、各因壽高、手扶厥杖、

萬有之主耶和華又曰、有齒之士、年高之婦、將坐於耶路撒冷逵衢、因其年老、攜杖以行、

萬有之主如是云、老夫老婦、將復坐於耶路撒冷街衢、因壽高年邁、手攜杖以行、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

He continued,“ Once again old men and women will sit in the streets of Jerusalem. All of them will be using canes because they are old.

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.

The Lord of armies says this:‘ Old men and old women will again sit in the public squares of Jerusalem, each person with his staff in his hand because of age.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Old men and old women shall again sit In the streets of Jerusalem, Each one with his staff in his hand Because of great age.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says,‘ Old men and women will once more live in the plazas of Jerusalem, each one leaning on a cane because of advanced age.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

And Job died, an old man, and full of days.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,

Behold, the days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.

Women are raped in Zion, young women in the towns of Judah.Princes are hung up by their hands; no respect is shown to the elders.Young men are compelled to grind at the mill, and boys stagger under loads of wood.The old men have left the city gate, the young men their music.The joy of our hearts has ceased; our dancing has been turned to mourning.

You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, like a sheaf gathered up in its season.

No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Look, O Lord, and see! With whom have you dealt thus? Should women eat the fruit of their womb, the children of their tender care? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?In the dust of the streets lie the young and the old; my young women and my young men have fallen by the sword; you have killed them in the day of your anger, slaughtering without pity.You summoned as if to a festival day my terrors on every side, and on the day of the anger of the Lord no one escaped or survived; those whom I held and raised my enemy destroyed.
