and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say,‘ Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’

The people of one city will say to the people of another,‘ Come with us to Jerusalem to ask the Lord to bless us. Let’s worship the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. I’m determined to go.’

讓我們認識，竭力追求認識耶和華。他必定出現，像晨光一樣，他必臨到我們，如雨水一般，又像滋潤大地的春雨。

你們要讚美耶和華。我的心哪！要讚美耶和華。我還活著的時候，我要讚美耶和華；我還在世上的時候，我要歌頌我的神。

你們一切被他所造的，在他統治的各處，都要稱頌耶和華。我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華。

人對我說：“我們到耶和華的殿那裡去”，我就歡喜。（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）耶路撒冷啊！我們的腳正站在你的門內。耶路撒冷被建造，好像一座結構完整的城巿。眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，都上那裡去；照著以色列的定例，稱頌耶和華的名。因為在那裡設有審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座。你們要為耶路撒冷求平安，說：“耶路撒冷啊！願愛你的人都亨通。願你的城牆內有平安，願你的宮殿中有安穩。”為了我的兄弟和朋友的緣故，我要說：“願你中間有平安。”為了耶和華我們神的殿的緣故，我要為你求福樂。
