“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: My love for Mount Zion is passionate and strong; I am consumed with passion for Jerusalem!

“万军之耶和华如此说：我为锡安心里极其火热，我为她火热，向她的仇敌发烈怒。

“万军之耶和华如此说：我为锡安而妒忌，大大妒忌；我为了它妒忌而大发烈怒。

“万军之耶和华如此说：我为锡安而妒忌，大大妒忌；我为了它妒忌而大发烈怒。

“万军之耶和华说，‘我对锡安充满了火热的爱，我为锡安而大发烈怒。

“万军之耶和华这样说：‘我十分热爱锡安；我为锡安大发烈怒。’

「萬軍之耶和華說，『我對錫安充滿了火熱的愛，我為錫安而大發烈怒。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘我十分熱愛錫安；我為錫安大發烈怒。’

『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：我妒愛錫安，大發妒愛熱情；我大發烈怒而妒愛她。

「萬軍之耶和華如此說：『我為錫安大發嫉妒之心，為她大發嫉妒之怒。』

萬軍之耶和華云、我為錫安熱中特甚、為之憤嫉、

我萬有之主耶和華云、我為郇邑熱中、憤怒厥敵、

萬有之主如是云、我為郇熱中至極、我為之熱中、大怒其敵、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.”

“ I am very jealous for my people in Zion. In fact, I am burning with jealousy for them.”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ I am extremely jealous for Zion; I am jealous for her with great wrath.”

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ I am exceedingly jealous for Zion, yes, with great wrath I am jealous for her.’

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; With great fervor I am zealous for her.’

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

“ The LORD who rules over all says,‘ I am very much concerned for Zion; indeed, I am so concerned for her that my rage will fall on those who hurt her.’

Yahweh of Armies says:“ I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.”

Then the Lord will pity his people and jealously guard the honor of his land.

Then the angel said to me,“ Shout this message for all to hear:‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: My love for Jerusalem and Mount Zion is passionate and strong.But I am very angry with the other nations that are now enjoying peace and security. I was only a little angry with my people, but the nations inflicted harm on them far beyond my intentions.“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I have returned to show mercy to Jerusalem. My Temple will be rebuilt, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and measurements will be taken for the reconstruction of Jerusalem.’

Lord, look down from heaven; look from your holy, glorious home, and see us. Where is the passion and the might you used to show on our behalf? Where are your mercy and compassion now?

The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero; he will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his battle cry and crush all his enemies.He will say,“ I have long been silent; yes, I have restrained myself. But now, like a woman in labor, I will cry and groan and pant.

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My jealous anger burns against these nations, especially Edom, because they have shown utter contempt for me by gleefully taking my land for themselves as plunder.“ Therefore, prophesy to the hills and mountains, the ravines and valleys of Israel. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am furious that you have suffered shame before the surrounding nations.

They angered God by building shrines to other gods; they made him jealous with their idols.When God heard them, he was very angry, and he completely rejected Israel.

The Lord is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and rage. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and continues to rage against his enemies!

For the time has come for me to avenge my people, to ransom them from their oppressors.I was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So I myself stepped in to save them with my strong arm, and my wrath sustained me.I crushed the nations in my anger and made them stagger and fall to the ground, spilling their blood upon the earth.”

He put on righteousness as his body armor and placed the helmet of salvation on his head. He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance and wrapped himself in a cloak of divine passion.

Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence.
