萬軍之耶和華云、四月五月、七月十月、禁食之期、在猶大家、將為喜樂歡忭之期、欣悅之節、爾宜誠實和平是好、

四五七十月間、猶大家禁食之時、將為欣喜歡忭之節期、惟爾所專務者、真實和平而已、我萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

萬有之主如是云、四月禁食之日、五月禁食之日、七月禁之日、十月禁食之日、將在猶大族中、變為歡樂欣喜之日、變為佳良之節期、惟爾當好真實與和平、

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth months will become joyful and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.”

“ You have established special times to go without eating. They are your fasts in the fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth months. They will become days of joy. They will be happy times for Judah. It will happen if you take delight in telling the truth and bringing about peace.”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts: The fast of the fourth month and the fast of the fifth and the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth shall be to the house of Judah seasons of joy and gladness and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: The traditional fasts and times of mourning you have kept in early summer, midsummer, autumn, and winter are now ended. They will become festivals of joy and celebration for the people of Judah. So love truth and peace.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth will become times of joy, gladness, and cheerful festivals for the house of Judah. Therefore, love truth and peace.”

“ The Lord of armies says this:‘ The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, jubilation, and cheerful festivals for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.’

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ The fast of the fourth month, The fast of the fifth, The fast of the seventh, And the fast of the tenth, Shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts For the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.’

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love truth and peace.

“ The Lord of Hosts says this: The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth will become times of joy, gladness, and cheerful festivals for the house of Judah. Therefore, love truth and peace.”

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth[ month], and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

“ The LORD who rules over all says,‘ The fast of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months will become joyful and happy, pleasant feasts for the house of Judah, so love truth and peace.’

Yahweh of Armies says:“ The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”

「你要向這地全體百姓和祭司說：『你們這七十年來，在五月、七月禁食悲哀，豈是真的向我禁食嗎？

西底家十一年四月初九日，城被攻破。

七月中，王室後裔以利沙瑪的孫子，尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利帶着十個人來，擊殺了基大利和同他在米斯巴的猶大人與迦勒底人，把他們殺死。

他作王第九年十月初十，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領全軍前來攻擊耶路撒冷，對着城安營，四圍築堡壘攻城，

你將我的哀哭變為跳舞，脫去我的麻衣，為我披上喜樂，

問萬軍之耶和華殿中的祭司，又問先知：「我當如歷年以來所行，在五月哭泣齋戒嗎？」

耶和華救贖的民必歸回，歌唱來到錫安；永遠的快樂必歸到他們頭上，他們必得着歡喜快樂，憂傷嘆息盡都逃避。

叫我們既從仇敵手中被救出來，就可以終身在他面前，無所懼怕地用聖潔和公義事奉他。

四月初九，城裏的饑荒非常嚴重，當地的百姓都沒有糧食。城被攻破，士兵全都在夜間從靠近王的花園、兩城牆中間的門逃跑。迦勒底人正在四圍攻城，王就往亞拉巴逃去。

以這兩日為猶太人擺脫仇敵得享平安、轉憂為喜、轉悲為樂的吉日，並在這兩日設宴歡樂，彼此餽送禮物，賙濟窮人。

在那日，你要說：「耶和華啊，我要稱謝你！因為你雖然向我發怒，你的怒氣卻已轉消；你又安慰了我。

四月初九，城裏的饑荒非常嚴重，當地的百姓都沒有糧食。城被攻破，士兵全都在夜間從靠近王園兩城牆中間的門逃跑出城；迦勒底人正在四圍攻城，他們就往亞拉巴逃去。

王的諭旨和敕令所到的各省各城，猶太人都歡喜快樂，擺設宴席，以那日為吉日。國中許多民族的人因懼怕猶太人，就自稱為猶太人。

耶和華救贖的民必歸回，歌唱來到錫安；永恆的喜樂必歸到他們頭上。他們必得着歡喜快樂，憂傷嘆息盡都逃避。

他們來到錫安的高處歌唱，因耶和華的宏恩而喜樂洋溢，就是五穀、新酒和新的油，並羔羊和牛犢。他們必像有水澆灌的園子，一點也不再有愁煩。那時，少女必歡樂跳舞；年輕的、年老的，都一同歡樂；因為我要使他們的悲哀變為歡喜，並要安慰他們，使他們的愁煩轉為喜樂。

因為，神救眾人的恩典已經顯明出來，訓練我們除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情慾，在今世過克己、正直、敬虔的生活，

城外有犬類、行邪術的、淫亂的、殺人的、拜偶像的，以及所有喜愛和行虛謊的人。

七月中，王的大臣，就是王室後裔以利沙瑪的孫子、尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利帶着十個人，來到米斯巴，亞希甘的兒子基大利那裏；他們在米斯巴一同吃飯。尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利和同他來的那十個人起來，用刀擊殺沙番的孫子，亞希甘的兒子基大利，就是巴比倫王所立為當地省長的，把他殺死。以實瑪利把所有在米斯巴與基大利一起的猶大人，以及他們在那裏所遇見的迦勒底人和士兵都殺了。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十，在巴比倫王面前侍立的尼布撒拉旦護衛長進入耶路撒冷，他焚燒了耶和華的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷的房屋；用火焚燒所有大戶人家的房屋。跟隨護衛長的迦勒底全軍拆毀了耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時尼布撒拉旦護衛長將百姓中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並那些投降巴比倫王的人，以及剩下的工匠，都擄去了。
