When you eat and drink, don’t you eat and drink simply for yourselves?

你们吃喝，不是为自己吃，为自己喝吗？

你们吃喝，不是为自己吃，为自己喝吗？

你们吃喝，难道不是为自己吃、为自己喝吗？

你们吃，你们喝，岂不是为你们自己吃，为你们自己喝吗？

你們吃喝，不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

你們吃喝，不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

你們吃喝，不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

你們吃喝，難道不是為自己吃、為自己喝嗎？

你們吃，你們喝，豈不是為你們自己吃，為你們自己喝嗎？

你們喫，你們喝，豈不是你們自己喫，自己喝呢？

當你們吃喝的時候，難道不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

爾式飲式食、豈非為己而食、為己而飲乎、

爾之飲食、非為口腹計哉、

爾飲食、非為己而食、為己而飲哉、

And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?

And when you were eating and drinking, weren’t you just enjoying good food for yourselves?

And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves?

When you eat and drink, don’t you eat and drink simply for yourselves?

And when you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?

When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves?

And when ye eat, and when ye drink, do not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat[ for yourselves], and drink[ for yourselves]?

And now when you eat and drink, are you not doing so for yourselves?’”

When you eat, and when you drink, don’t you eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

Therefore, when you come together in one place, it is not really to eat the Lord’s Supper.For at the meal, each one eats his own supper ahead of others. So one person is hungry while another gets drunk!

Though they offer sacrificial gifts and eat the flesh, the Lord does not accept them. Now He will remember their guilt and punish their sins; they will return to Egypt.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory.

And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

They will not pour out their wine offerings to the Lord, and their sacrifices will not please Him. Their food will be like the bread of mourners; all who eat it become defiled. For their bread will be for their appetites alone; it will not enter the house of the Lord.

But the Lord said to Samuel,“ Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.”

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord.So a man should examine himself; in this way he should eat the bread and drink from the cup.For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

You may spend the money on anything you want: cattle, sheep, wine, beer, or anything you desire. You are to feast there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice with your family.

The heart is more deceitful than anything else, and incurable— who can understand it?I, Yahweh, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve.

They ate and drank with great joy in the Lord’s presence that day. Then, for a second time, they made David’s son Solomon king; they anointed him as the Lord’s ruler, and Zadok as the priest.

You will eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice with your household in everything you do, because the Lord your God has blessed you.
