你地所產的和你勞力所得的，必被你所不認識的百姓吃盡。你天天只被欺負，受壓制，

耶和華必把你們分散在萬民中，從地的這邊到地的另一邊，在那裏你必事奉你和你列祖不認識的神明，就是木頭和石頭。

耶和華必將你們分散在萬民中；在耶和華領你們到的列國中，你們剩下的人丁稀少。

看哪！耶和華的暴風在震怒中發出，是旋轉的暴風，必轉到惡人頭上。

耶和華說：「來，來！你們要從北方之地逃回；因我曾把你們分散到天的四方。這是耶和華說的。」

「我已經除滅列國，使他們的城樓荒廢。我使他們街道荒涼，無人經過；他們的城鎮毀壞，沒有人，沒有居民。

耶和華要顯現在他們身上，他的箭要射出如閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。

論海邊曠野的默示。它像尼革夫的旋風掃過，從曠野，從可怕之地而來。

以色列家啊，看哪，我必使一國從遠方來攻擊你，是強盛的國，是古老的國；他們的言語你不知道，所說的話你不明白。這是耶和華說的。

我要在戰爭吶喊的日子，在旋風狂吹時，在拉巴城內放火，吞滅它的宮殿；

看哪，耶和華的憤怒如暴風已經發出；是掃滅的暴風，必轉到惡人的頭上。

那時，必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說：「來自曠野光禿高地的熱風吹向我的百姓，不是為簸揚，也不是為揚淨。又有一陣比這更大的風向我颳來；現在，我要向他們宣讀我的判決。」

尼布甲尼撒二十三年，尼布撒拉旦護衛長擄去猶大人七百四十五人；共有四千六百人。

眾官長對巴錄說：「你和耶利米要去躲起來，不可叫人知道你們躲在哪裏。」

耶和華要從遠方、地極之處帶一國來，如鷹飛來攻擊你；這國的語言，你聽不懂。

耶和華不輕易發怒，大有能力，但耶和華萬不以有罪的為無罪。他的道路在旋風和暴風之中，雲彩為他腳下的塵土。

你以其戈矛刺透他戰士的頭；他們如旋風將我颳散，他們喜愛暗中吞吃困苦的人。

這就應驗耶和華藉耶利米的口所說的話：地得享安息；在荒涼的日子，地就守安息，直到滿了七十年。

我要把你們驅散到列國中，也要拔刀追趕你們。你們的地要成為荒涼，你們的城鎮要變成廢墟。

因此，我的怒氣和憤怒都傾倒出來，在猶大城鎮和耶路撒冷街市上燃起，以致它們都荒廢淒涼，正如今日一樣。

主啊，求你按你豐盛的公義，使你的怒氣和憤怒轉離你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的聖山。因我們的罪惡和我們祖先的罪孽，耶路撒冷和你的子民被四圍的人羞辱。我們的上帝啊，現在求你垂聽你僕人的祈禱懇求，為你自己的緣故使你的臉向荒涼的聖所發光。我的上帝啊，求你側耳而聽，睜眼而看，眷顧我們那荒涼之地和稱為你名下的城。我們在你面前懇求，不是因自己的義，而是因你豐富的憐憫。

從四角中的一角又長出另一隻小角，向南、向東、向佳美之地，日漸壯大。

你們用荊棘燒火，鍋還未熱，上帝就用旋風把未燒着的和已燒着的一齊颳去。

列邦喧鬧，如同大水滔滔；但上帝一斥責，他們就遠遠躲避，他們被追趕，如同山上風前的糠粃，又如暴風前的碎稭；

「萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，必有災禍發出，從這國到那國，並有大暴風從地極颳起。「到那日，從地這邊到地那邊，都有耶和華所殺戮的人。必無人哀哭，不得收殮，不得埋葬，必在地面上成為糞土。

我要打發野地的走獸到你們中間，奪去你們的兒女，吞滅你們的牲畜，使你們人數減少，道路荒涼。

看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨，他的戰車宛如暴風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；
