“ As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts,

万军之耶和华说：“我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听！

万军之耶和华说：我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听！

万军之耶和华说：我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听！

祂说，‘我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听。

我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；照样，将来他们呼求我，我也不听。这是万军之耶和华说的。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！

萬軍之耶和華說：我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！

萬軍之耶和華說：我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！

祂說，『我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽。

我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；照樣，將來他們呼求我，我也不聽。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

『我呼喚，他們既怎樣不聽，那麼他們呼求，我也就照樣不聞了』：這是萬軍之永恆主說的。

萬軍之耶和華說：『既然我呼喚他們，他們不聽，那麼他們呼喚我，我也不聽。

萬軍之耶和華曰、我呼之、而彼不聽、彼呼我、我亦不聽、

萬有之主耶和華曰、昔我諭眾、眾不聽從、今眾籲我、我亦不聽、

萬有之主曰、我呼彼、彼不聽、彼籲我、我亦不聽、

“‘ When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the Lord Almighty.

“ When I called, they did not listen,” says the Lord.“ So when they called, I would not listen.

“ Since they refused to listen when I called to them, I would not listen when they called to me, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Just as he had called, and they would not listen, so when they called, I would not listen, says the LORD of Armies.

And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen,” says the Lord of armies;

Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts.

And it is come to pass that, as he cried, and they would not hear, so they shall cry, and I will not hear, said Jehovah of hosts;

Just as He had called, and they would not listen, so when they called, I would not listen,” says the Lord of Hosts.

Therefore it is come to pass,[ that] as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

“‘ It then came about that just as I cried out, but they would not obey, so they will cry out, but I will not listen,’ the LORD LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL had said.

It has come to pass that, as he called, and they refused to listen, so they will call, and I will not listen,” said Yahweh of Armies;

Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof,I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you,when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me.

Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”

When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.

Therefore, thus says the Lord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

Then they will cry to the Lord, but he will not answer them; he will hide his face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil.

Hear, O my people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to me!There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.“ But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

Thus says the Lord:“ Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said,‘ We will not walk in it.’I set watchmen over you, saying,‘ Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said,‘ We will not pay attention.’

Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.

When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying,‘ Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you,‘ I do not know where you come from.’

“ Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God, Is it to inquire of me that you come? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.

saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every sideand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

“ Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set the stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. Should I indeed let myself be consulted by them?

Afterward the other virgins came also, saying,‘ Lord, lord, open to us.’But he answered,‘ Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say,‘ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, by my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a desert; their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.
