They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Lord Almighty was very angry.

“全体以色列人都违背、偏离了你的律法，不听从你的话；因此神的仆人摩西的律法上所记的诅咒和审判都倾泻在我们身上，因为我们对神犯了罪。神实现了他的话语，就是他针对我们、针对那些审判我们的审判官所说的，为要使极大的祸患临到我们身上；像这样在耶路撒冷所发生的祸患，在普天之下从来没有发生过。

那‘路边之地’，是这样的人：他们听了这话语，然后魔鬼就来，从他们心里把话语夺走，免得他们信而得救。

这些犹太人不但杀了主耶稣和先知们，也驱逐了我们，并且不讨神的喜悦，又与所有的人作对，阻止我们向外邦人传道使外邦人得救。这样，他们常常积满自己的罪孽，而神的震怒在最后临到了他们身上！

实际上，你恨恶管教，把我的话语丢在身后。

这是为要使‘他们看了又看，却不明白，听了又听，却不领悟，免得他们回转过来，就被赦免。’”

并且使用一切不义的诡计，因为他们不接受那能使他们得救的真理之爱。为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，好使所有不相信真理而喜悦不义的人，都被定罪。

因为预言从来不是藉着人的意思传来的，而是人受圣灵的感动说出从神而来的话。

他们查考了自己里面基督之灵，当他预言有关基督的苦难和此后的荣耀时，究竟指明的是什么时候、或什么样的情况。他们蒙了启示，知道所服事的这一切，不是为自己，而是为你们。如今，这些事藉着从天上派来的圣灵，通过那些向你们传福音的人，传讲给了你们；对于这些事，天使们也渴望能详细察看。

“所定的罪是这样的：光来到了世界，人们却因自己的行为邪恶，不喜爱光，反喜爱黑暗。事实上，所有作恶的人，都憎恨光，不来到光那里，免得自己的行为被揭露出来；
