Then he cried to me,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have set my Spirit at rest in the north country.”

他又呼叫我说：“看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。”

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又高声对我说：“看啊，那些到北方去的已在那里使我的心得到安慰。”

他又呼唤我，对我说：“你看，那些出来往北方之地去的，已经在北方之地使我心灵的忿怒平息下来。”

他又呼叫我說：「看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。」

他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

使者呼而謂我曰、往北方者、已安我心於北方矣、○

天使招我曰、往北方者、已雪我忿、

彼召我曰、爾視往北方者、已雪我忿已雪我忿或作已安我心在北方、○

Then he called to me,“ Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”

Then the Lord called out to me,“ Look! The horses going toward the north have given my Spirit rest in the north country.”

Then the Lord summoned me and said,“ Look, those who went north have vented the anger of my Spirit there in the land of the north.”

Then he summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified my Spirit in the northern land.”

Then He called out to me and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country.”

Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then He summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified My Spirit in the northern land.”

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then he cried out to me,“ Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me peace about the northland.”

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

“ Thus shall my anger spend itself, and I will vent my fury upon them and satisfy myself. And they shall know that I am the Lord— that I have spoken in my jealousy— when I spend my fury upon them.

And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster.

All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look! When a trumpet is blown, hear!For thus the Lord said to me:“ I will quietly look from my dwelling like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”

So will I satisfy my wrath on you, and my jealousy shall depart from you. I will be calm and will no more be angry.

that you may remember and be confounded, and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I atone for you for all that you have done, declares the Lord God.”

God has given into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. What have I been able to do in comparison with you?” Then their anger against him subsided when he said this.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers shall come against them out of the north, declares the Lord.Babylon must fall for the slain of Israel, just as for Babylon have fallen the slain of all the earth.

Therefore the Lord declares, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel:“ Ah, I will get relief from my enemies and avenge myself on my foes.

“ Assemble, all of you, and listen! Who among them has declared these things? The Lord loves him; he shall perform his purpose on Babylon, and his arm shall be against the Chaldeans.

On account of your unclean lewdness, because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed from your uncleanness, you shall not be cleansed anymore till I have satisfied my fury upon you.

Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,“ So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more;and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more,

And Samson said to them,“ If this is what you do, I swear I will be avenged on you, and after that I will quit.”

If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place, for calmness will lay great offenses to rest.

Thus says your Lord, the Lord, your God who pleads the cause of his people:“ Behold, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering; the bowl of my wrath you shall drink no more;and I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, who have said to you,‘ Bow down, that we may pass over’; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.”

The Lord goes out like a mighty man, like a man of war he stirs up his zeal; he cries out, he shouts aloud, he shows himself mighty against his foes.For a long time I have held my peace; I have kept still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor; I will gasp and pant.I will lay waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their vegetation; I will turn the rivers into islands, and dry up the pools.
