他又呼叫我说：“看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。”

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又高声对我说：“看啊，那些到北方去的已在那里使我的心得到安慰。”

他又呼唤我，对我说：“你看，那些出来往北方之地去的，已经在北方之地使我心灵的忿怒平息下来。”

天使招我曰、往北方者、已雪我忿、

彼召我曰、爾視往北方者、已雪我忿已雪我忿或作已安我心在北方、○

Then he called to me,“ Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”

Then the Lord called out to me,“ Look! The horses going toward the north have given my Spirit rest in the north country.”

Then he cried to me,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have set my Spirit at rest in the north country.”

Then the Lord summoned me and said,“ Look, those who went north have vented the anger of my Spirit there in the land of the north.”

Then he summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified my Spirit in the northern land.”

Then He called out to me and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country.”

Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then He summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified My Spirit in the northern land.”

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then he cried out to me,“ Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me peace about the northland.”

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

“這樣我的怒氣才可以發盡，我向他們所發的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒暢。我向他們所發的烈怒完全發盡的時候，他們就知道我耶和華說過的話是出於嫉恨的心。

我向那些安逸的列國大大惱怒，因為我只是稍微惱怒我的子民，他們卻加深他們的禍害。

世上所有的居民，住在全地上的人哪！山上豎起旗幟的時候，你們要注意；號角吹響的時候，你們要聆聽。耶和華這樣對我說：“我要從我的居所安靜觀看，像日光中閃爍的熱氣，又像收割時的熱氣中有露水的雲彩。”

這樣我向你發的烈怒就可以平息，我的妒忿也可以離開你；我可以安靜，不再惱怒了。

好使你在我赦免你所行的一切時，就會回想，自覺慚愧，並且因你所受的羞辱不再開口。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

神已經把米甸人的兩個首領：俄立和西伊伯，交在你們的手裡了；我所行的怎能與你們相比呢？”基甸說了這話，他們的怒氣就平息了。

那時天地和其中的一切，都必因巴比倫的傾覆歡呼，因為行毀滅的要從北方來攻擊她。”這是耶和華的宣告。“巴比倫必因以色列被刺殺的人而倒下，就如全地被刺殺的人因巴比倫而倒下。

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：“哎！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復。

列國啊！你們都要集合起來聽。他們中間有誰預言過這些事呢？耶和華愛他，他必向巴比倫行他所喜悅的；他的膀臂也必擊打迦勒底人。

你的污穢就是淫蕩。我想要潔淨你，你卻不願意潔淨，所以你的污穢再不能得到潔淨，直等到我向你發的烈怒止息。

有一位大力的天使，把一塊好像大磨石一樣的石頭，舉起來拋在海裡，說：“巴比倫大城也必這樣被猛力地拋下去，決不能再找到了！彈琴、奏樂、吹笛、吹號的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽到了！各樣手藝技工，在你中間決不能再找到了！推磨的聲音，在你中間決不能再聽到了！

參孫對他們說：“你們既然這樣行，我必在你們身上報仇，然後才肯罷休。”

如果掌權者向你發怒，你不要離開原位，因為柔順能免大過。

你的主耶和華，就是為自己的子民爭辯的神，這樣說：“看哪！我已經把那使人搖搖擺擺的杯，就是我烈怒的爵，從你的手裡挪去了；你必不再喝這杯。我必把這杯放在那些苦待你的人的手裡；他們曾對你說：‘你屈身俯伏，讓我們走過去吧！’你就以你的背作陸地，作街道，任由他們踏過去。”

耶和華必像勇士出戰，必像戰士激動熱心；他要呼喊，大聲吶喊，要向仇敵顯出自己的威猛。我已經很久緘默不言，閉口不語，但現在我要像待產的婦人一樣呼喊，我要急速地喘氣。我必使大山小山都變為荒場，使一切草木都枯乾；我要使江河變為乾地，使水池乾涸。
