The angel replied to me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out after taking their stand before the Lord of all the earth,

天使回答我，說：「這些是天上四方的風，站立在全地之主面前，現在從那裡出來了。

使者曰、此乃天之四風、侍於全地之主前、奉遣而出、

天使曰、此乃四天神、恆侍於天下之主側、今已出矣、

天使曰、此乃天之四風、風或作神靈曾侍立於普天下之主前、今已出矣、

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.

The angel answered,“ The four spirits of heaven. They are going out to serve the Lord of the whole world.

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven who stand before the Lord of all the earth. They are going out to do his work.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.

And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

And the angel answered and said unto me, These[ are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

The messenger replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven that have been presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel answered me,“ These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

And regarding the angels He says,“ He makes His angels winds, And His ministers a flame of fire.”

He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters; He makes the clouds His chariot; He walks on the wings of the wind;He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers.

And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees responded and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”So they responded to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees and said,“ We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is still and quiet.”

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to provide service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

The angel answered and said to him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.And as for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.And their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were covered with eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.The wheels were called, as I heard, the whirling wheels.And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a human, the third, the face of a lion, and the fourth, the face of an eagle.Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar.Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would move beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels themselves would not turn away from beside them.When the cherubim stood still, the wheels would stand still; and when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them, because the spirit of the living beings was in them.Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the ground in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.

A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were serving Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court convened, And the books were opened.

Daniel said,“ I was looking in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.

And I saw another angel flying in midheaven with an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people;and he said with a loud voice,“ Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth, and sea and springs of waters.”And another angel, a second one, followed, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice,“ If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.And I heard a voice from heaven, saying,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’ ”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”

For who has shown contempt for the day of small things? But these seven will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel— they are the eyes of the Lord roaming throughout the earth.”

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.

And within it there were figures resembling four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human form.Each of them had four faces and four wings.Their legs were straight and their feet were like a calf’s hoof, and they sparkled like polished bronze.Under their wings on their four sides were human hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them,their wings touched one another; their faces did not turn when they moved, each went straight forward.As for the form of their faces, each had a human face; all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and all four had the face of an eagle.Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above; each had two touching another being, and two covering their bodies.And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.In the midst of the living beings there was something that looked like burning coals of fire, like torches moving among the living beings. The fire was bright, and lightning was flashing from the fire.And the living beings ran back and forth like bolts of lightning.Now as I looked at the living beings, behold, there was one wheel on the ground beside the living beings, for each of the four of them.The appearance of the wheels and their workmanship was like sparkling topaz, and all four of them had the same form, their appearance and workmanship being as if one wheel were within another.Whenever they moved, they moved in any of their four directions without turning as they moved.As for their rims, they were high and awesome, and the rims of all four of them were covered with eyes all around.Whenever the living beings moved, the wheels moved with them. And whenever the living beings rose from the earth, the wheels rose also.Wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go in that direction. And the wheels rose just as they did; for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.Whenever those went, they went; and whenever those stopped, they stopped. And whenever those rose from the earth, the wheels rose just as they did; for the spirit of the living beings was in the wheels.Now over the heads of the living beings there was something like an expanse, like the awesome gleam of crystal, spread out over their heads.Under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight, one toward the other; each one also had two wings covering its body on the one side and on the other.And I also heard the sound of their wings, like the sound of abundant waters as they went, like the voice of the Almighty, a sound of a crowd like the sound of an army camp; whenever they stopped, they let down their wings.And a voice came from above the expanse that was over their heads; whenever they stood still, they let down their wings.Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man.Then I noticed from the appearance of His waist and upward something like gleaming metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him.Like the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

And Micaiah said,“ Therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the angels of heaven standing on His right and on His left.And the Lord said,‘ Who will entice Ahab king of Israel to go up and fall at Ramoth gilead?’ And one spirit said this, while another said that.

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.

“ See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Then he said,“ These are the two anointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”

And Micaiah said,“ Therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, and all the angels of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His left.

Then He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,‘ The Lord God says this:“ Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, so that they come to life.” ’ ”

The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them as at Sinai, in holiness.

For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of armies; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.

Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

So He said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord was passing by! And a great and powerful wind was tearing out the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Again, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”
