And the angel answered and said unto me, These[ are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

天使回答我，說：「這些是天上四方的風，站立在全地之主面前，現在從那裡出來了。

使者曰、此乃天之四風、侍於全地之主前、奉遣而出、

天使曰、此乃四天神、恆侍於天下之主側、今已出矣、

天使曰、此乃天之四風、風或作神靈曾侍立於普天下之主前、今已出矣、

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world.

The angel answered,“ The four spirits of heaven. They are going out to serve the Lord of the whole world.

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven who stand before the Lord of all the earth. They are going out to do his work.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

The angel replied to me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out after taking their stand before the Lord of all the earth,

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.

And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel told me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.

The messenger replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven that have been presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

The angel answered me,“ These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These[ are they] whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel[ was] over them above.

And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels[ was] as the colour of a beryl stone.And[ as for] their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels,[ were] full of eyes round about,[ even] the wheels that they four had.As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.And every one had four faces: the first face[ was] the face of a cherub, and the second face[ was] the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.And the cherubims were lifted up. This[ is] the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.When they stood,[ these] stood; and when they were lifted up,[ these] lifted up themselves[ also]: for the spirit of the living creature[ was] in them.Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also[ were] beside them, and[ every one] stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel[ was] over them above.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive[ his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.Here is the patience of the saints: here[ are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed[ are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel[ with] those seven; they[ are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Also out of the midst thereof[ came] the likeness of four living creatures. And this[ was] their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.And their feet[ were] straight feet; and the sole of their feet[ was] like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.And[ they had] the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.Their wings[ were] joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.Thus[ were] their faces: and their wings[ were] stretched upward; two[ wings] of every one[ were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went;[ and] they turned not when they went.As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance[ was] like burning coals of fire,[ and] like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.The appearance of the wheels and their work[ was] like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work[ was] as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.When they went, they went upon their four sides:[ and] they turned not when they went.As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings[ were] full of eyes round about them four.And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither[ was their] spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature[ was] in the wheels.When those went,[ these] went; and when those stood,[ these] stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature[ was] in the wheels.And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature[ was] as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.And under the firmament[ were] their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.And there was a voice from the firmament that[ was] over their heads, when they stood,[ and] had let down their wings.And above the firmament that[ was] over their heads[ was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne[ was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so[ was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This[ was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw[ it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and[ on] his left.And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Then said he, These[ are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

The chariots of God[ are] twenty thousand,[ even] thousands of angels: the Lord[ is] among them,[ as in] Sinai, in the holy[ place].

For thy Maker[ is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts[ is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD;[ but] the LORD[ was] not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake;[ but] the LORD[ was] not in the earthquake:

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
