Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.”

People will come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the Lord. And when this happens, you will know that my messages have been from the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All this will happen if you carefully obey what the Lord your God says.

“ Foreigners will build up your walls, and their kings will serve you: for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you.

“ Yahweh of Armies says:‘ If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.

Also the foreigners who join themselves to Yahweh to serve him, and to love Yahweh’s name, to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it, and holds fast my covenant,I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”The Lord Yahweh, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says,“ I will yet gather others to him, in addition to his own who are gathered.”

I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says Yahweh;“ and I will heal them.”

and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.Those who will be of you will build the old waste places. You will raise up the foundations of many generations. You will be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Paths with Dwellings.“ If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable; and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,then you will delight yourself in Yahweh, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father;” for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it.

According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble,each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

but this thing I commanded them, saying,‘ Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’

Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

Tell the righteous“ Good!” For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

For Yahweh of Armies says:‘ For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me.Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for, behold, I come, and I will dwell within you,’ says Yahweh.Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

and speak to him, saying,‘ Yahweh of Armies says,“ Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Yahweh’s temple;

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation,having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace,and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge;and in knowledge, self- control; and in self- control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness;and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love.For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to not be idle or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.

Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,“ The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.
