Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.”

Those who are far away will come to Jerusalem. They will help build the Lord’ s temple. Then his people will know that the Lord who rules over all has sent me to them. It will happen if they are careful to obey the Lord their God.”

“ And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the Lord. And you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.”

People will come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the Lord. And when this happens, you will know that my messages have been from the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. All this will happen if you carefully obey what the Lord your God says.

Those who are far away will come and build the temple of the Lord.” Then you will know that the Lord of armies has sent me to you. And it will take place if you completely obey the Lord your God.

Even those from afar shall come and build the temple of the Lord. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. And this shall come to pass if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.”

And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.

Then those who are far away will come and build the temple of the LORD so that you may know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me to you. This will all come to pass if you completely obey the voice of the LORD your God.”’”

Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey Yahweh your God’s voice.”’”

Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in my wrath, yet I will show mercy to you with my favor.

“ This is what the LORD of Armies says: If you walk in my ways and keep my mandates, you will both rule my house and take care of my courts; I will also grant you access among these who are standing here.

As for the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to become his servants— all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold firmly to my covenant—I will bring them to my holy mountain and let them rejoice in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on my altar, for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”This is the declaration of the Lord GOD, who gathers the dispersed of Israel:“ I will gather to them still others besides those already gathered.”

and if you offer yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted one, then your light will shine in the darkness, and your night will be like noonday.The LORD will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.Some of you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will restore the foundations laid long ago; you will be called the repairer of broken walls, the restorer of streets where people live.“ If you keep from desecrating the Sabbath, from doing whatever you want on my holy day; if you call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, seeking your own pleasure, or talking business;then you will delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride over the heights of the land, and let you enjoy the heritage of your father Jacob.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one is to be careful how he builds on it.For no one can lay any foundation other than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ.If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,each one’s work will become obvious. For the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire; the fire will test the quality of each one’s work.If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.If anyone’s work is burned up, he will experience loss, but he himself will be saved— but only as through fire.

However, I did give them this command:‘ Obey me, and then I will be your God, and you will be my people. Follow every way I command you so that it may go well with you.’

“ I pray not only for these, but also for those who believe in me through their word.May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.

For the LORD of Armies says this:“ In pursuit of his glory, he sent me against the nations plundering you, for whoever touches you touches the pupil of my eye.For look, I am raising my hand against them, and they will become plunder for their own servants. Then you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me.“ Daughter Zion, shout for joy and be glad, for I am coming to dwell among you”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

but now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles—

You are to tell him: This is what the LORD of Armies says: Here is a man whose name is Branch; he will branch out from his place and build the LORD’s temple.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For he is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In his flesh,he made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that he might create in himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace.He did this so that he might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross by which he put the hostility to death.He came and proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.So, then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household,built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness,godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.

Then the word of the LORD came to me:“ Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.
