Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.

我又举目观看，见有四辆车从两山中间出来；那山是铜山。

我又举目观看，看哪，有四辆马车从两座山的中间出来；那两座山是铜山。

我復舉目、見有四車、出自二山之間、其山乃銅山也、

我又仰觀、有二岡巒、俱以銅鑄、其間四車齊出、

我又舉目而觀、見車四乘、自二山間而出、山乃銅山、

I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains— mountains of bronze.

I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two bronze mountains.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. The mountains were made of bronze.

Now I raised my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were going out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains.

Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. And the mountains were made of bronze.

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains[ were] mountains of brass.

Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

The horn that was broken and in whose place there arose four others stands for four kingdoms that will arise from his nation, though they will not have his strength.

The messenger replied,“ These are the four spirits of heaven that have been presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.

In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will

to do as much as your power and your plan had decided beforehand would happen.

But leave its taproot in the ground, with a band of iron and bronze around it surrounded by the grass of the field. Let it become damp with the dew of the sky, and let it live with the animals in the grass of the land.

( 2: 1) Once again I looked and this time I saw four horns.So I asked the angelic messenger who spoke with me,“ What are these?” He replied,“ These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; my hand is ready to strike all the nations.”Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says,‘ My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out.

The LORD’s decisions stand forever; his plans abide throughout the ages.

All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’

Wherever human beings, wild animals, and birds of the sky live– he has given them into your power. He has given you authority over them all. You are the head of gold.Now after you another kingdom will arise, one inferior to yours. Then a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule in all the earth.Then there will be a fourth kingdom, one strong like iron. Just like iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything, and as iron breaks in pieces all of these metals, so it will break in pieces and crush the others.

He lifts the weak from the dust; he raises the poor from the ash heap to seat them with princes and to bestow on them an honored position. The foundations of the earth belong to the LORD, and he has placed the world on them.

Your justice is like the highest mountains, your fairness like the deepest sea; you preserve mankind and the animal kingdom.

There is no wisdom and there is no understanding, and there is no counsel against the LORD.

From this day forward I am he; no one can deliver from my power; I will act, and who can prevent it?”

Then four large beasts came up from the sea; they were different from one another.“ The first one was like a lion with eagles’ wings. As I watched, its wings were pulled off and it was lifted up from the ground. It was made to stand on two feet like a human being, and a human mind was given to it.“ Then a second beast appeared, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and there were three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told,‘ Get up and devour much flesh!’“ After these things, as I was watching, another beast like a leopard appeared, with four bird- like wings on its back. This beast had four heads, and ruling authority was given to it.“ After these things, as I was watching in the night visions a fourth beast appeared– one dreadful, terrible, and very strong. It had two large rows of iron teeth. It devoured and crushed, and anything that was left it trampled with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that came before it, and it had ten horns.

But if God is quiet, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, then who can see him? Yet he is over the individual and the nation alike,

Then I turned to look, and there was a flying scroll!

This was according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
