And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains[ were] mountains of brass.

我又仰觀、有二岡巒、俱以銅鑄、其間四車齊出、

我又舉目而觀、見車四乘、自二山間而出、山乃銅山、

I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains— mountains of bronze.

I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two bronze mountains.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. The mountains were made of bronze.

Now I raised my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were going out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains.

Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. And the mountains were made of bronze.

Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.

Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

And the angel answered and said unto me, These[ are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and[ let] his portion[ be] with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What[ be] these? And he answered me, These[ are] the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

This[ is] the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this[ is] the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul[ it]? and his hand[ is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times[ the things] that are not[ yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken[ it], I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed[ it], I will also do it.

The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou[ art] this head of gold.And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all[ things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,[ and] lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set[ them] among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth[ are] the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.

Thy righteousness[ is] like the great mountains; thy judgments[ are] a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

[ There is] no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

Yea, before the day[ was] I[ am] he; and[ there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.The first[ was] like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and[ it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it[ was] diverse from all the beasts that[ were] before it; and it had ten horns.

When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth[ his] face, who then can behold him? whether[ it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:

Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
