The angel said,“ She stands for everything that is evil.” Then he pushed her down into the basket. He put the lead cover back over it.

天使说：“这是罪恶。”他就把妇人扔在量器中，将那片圆铅扔在量器的口上。

彼曰、此乃邪惡、遂投婦於伊法中、置鉛片於其口、

天使曰、此女譬諸惡行、投諸斗量中、以鉛蓋之、

彼曰、此即罪惡、遂投之於伊法中、以鉛投於伊法口上、

He said,“ This is wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed its lead cover down on it.

And he said,“ This is Wickedness.” And he thrust her back into the basket, and thrust down the leaden weight on its opening.

The angel said,“ The woman’s name is Wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and closed the heavy lid again.

“ This is Wickedness,” he said. He shoved her down into the basket and pushed the lead weight over its opening.

Then he said,“ This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her into the middle of the ephah and threw the lead weight on its opening.

then he said,“ This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth.

And he said, This is Wickedness: and he cast her down into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

“ This is Wickedness,” he said. He shoved her down into the basket and pushed the lead weight over its opening.

And he said, This[ is] wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

He then said,“ This woman represents wickedness,” and he pushed her down into the basket and placed the lead cover on top.

He said,“ This is Wickedness;” and he threw her down into the middle of the ephah basket; and he threw the weight of lead on its mouth.

My guilt has become too much for me. It is a load too heavy to carry.

So go ahead and finish the sins that those who lived before you started!

I saw the Lord standing next to the altar in the temple. He said to me,“ Strike the tops of the temple pillars. Then the heavy stones at the base of the entrance will shake. Bring everything down on the heads of everyone there. I will kill with my swords those who are left alive. None of the Israelites will escape. None will get away.They might dig down deep. But my powerful hand will take them out of there. They might climb up to the heavens. But I will bring them down from there.They might hide on top of Mount Carmel. But I will hunt them down and grab them. They might hide from me at the bottom of the ocean. But even there I will command the serpent to bite them.Their enemies might take them away as prisoners to another country. But there I will command Israel’s enemies to cut them down with swords. I will keep my eye on Israel to harm them. I will not help them.”

Sinners are trapped by their own evil acts. They are held tight by the ropes of their sins.

Then the basket’s cover was lifted up. It was made out of lead. A woman was sitting in the basket!

They try to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles. These Jews don’t want the Gentiles to be saved. In this way, these Jews always increase their sins to the limit. God’s anger has come on them at last.

Should I forgive anyone who uses dishonest scales? They use weights that weigh things heavier or lighter than they really are.

“ My sins have been made into a heavy yoke. They were woven together by his hands. They have been placed on my neck. The Lord has taken away my strength. He has handed me over to my enemies. I can’t win the battle over them.

Your children’s grandchildren will come back here. That’s because the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached the point where I must punish them.”
