所羅把伯築此殿之基、彼必竣其工、使爾知萬有之主耶和華、遣我涖臨爾境、

所羅巴伯之手、築此殿基、其手必竣其工、爾則知萬有之主遣我就爾、

猶大長老、因先知哈該、及易多孫撒迦利雅之預言、建造順遂、遵以色列上帝之命、及古列、大利烏、與波斯王亞達薛西之諭、完竣厥工、大利烏王六年、亞達月三日、此室告成、

設巴薩至、立耶路撒冷上帝室之基、迄今建築、猶未告成、

謂之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、有名萌蘖者、必由其地挺生、將建耶和華之殿、彼建耶和華之殿、亦必得其尊榮、居其位而主治、在其位為祭司、使此二者之間、著和平之謀議、

至耶路撒冷、詣上帝室之二年二月、撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、約薩達子耶書亞、及其餘昆弟祭司利未人、與自俘囚而歸耶路撒冷之眾、肇造耶和華室、立利未人二十歲以上者、督其工作、時、耶書亞及其子弟、甲篾及其子、猶大之子、希拿達之子、與其昆弟利未人、偕立而督上帝室之工、匠人立耶和華殿基時、祭司衣禮服執角、利未人亞薩裔擊鈸、頌讚耶和華、循以色列王大衛之例、遂更唱迭和、讚美稱謝耶和華曰、彼乃善良、慈惠永存於以色列、民眾見耶和華室基已立、於讚美耶和華之際、大聲而呼、祭司利未人及族長、曾見古室之耆老、今目睹立斯室之基、大聲哭號者多、欣然歡呼者亦多、民眾大聲而呼、其聲遠聞、哭號與歡呼之聲、民不能辨、

使皆為一、如父在我中、我在父中、使彼亦在我儕中、令世信爾遣我也、

然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、且遣我之父、已為我證也、爾從未聞其聲、亦未見其形、

因上帝遣子入世、非以鞫世、乃令由之而獲救、

萬軍之耶和華有言、為彰其榮、遣我至虜爾之邦、犯爾者、即犯其眸子也、我將向之搖手、彼必為其廝役所虜、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我矣、

是日必有多國歸附耶和華、為我之民、我必居於爾中、如是、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我就爾、

設我判之、其判乃真、以我非獨在、乃偕遣我之父也、爾律載云、二人之證為真、我自證、遣我之父亦證焉、

瞻望耶穌、即我信之始終、彼為陳於其前之樂、忍受十架、輕視恥辱、今得坐於上帝右、

爾其就我、以聆斯言、我自元始、不言於隱、自古我已在焉、先知曰今主耶和華遣我、及其神矣、

吾又語汝、爾乃彼得、我將建我會於此磐、而陰府之權、不能勝之、

遠人將至、建耶和華之殿、如是、爾則知萬軍之耶和華遣我就爾、爾若勤遵爾上帝耶和華之命、則此事必成焉、
