于是，这位设巴萨就在耶路撒冷为上帝的殿立了根基，从那时到如今，殿一直在重建中，还没有竣工。’

告诉他，万军之耶和华说，‘看啊，那被称为大卫苗裔的要从自己的地方兴起，建造耶和华的殿。祂必建造耶和华的殿，带着王者的尊荣坐在宝座上掌权，宝座上也必坐着祭司，两者和谐共存。’

在回到耶路撒冷上帝殿的第二年二月，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯、约萨达的儿子耶书亚及其祭司和利未亲族，以及所有从流亡之地回到耶路撒冷的人，开始重建耶和华的殿，并派二十岁以上的利未人做督工。何达威雅的后裔，即耶书亚及其子孙和弟兄、甲篾及其子孙，与利未人希拿达的子孙及其弟兄同心协力地监督在上帝殿里做工的人。工人立耶和华殿的根基时，祭司身穿礼服拿着号角，利未人亚萨的子孙拿着钹各就各位，照以色列王大卫所定的规矩赞美耶和华。他们彼此唱和，赞美、称谢耶和华，说：“祂是美善的，因为祂向以色列人永施慈爱！”所有人都高声欢呼赞美耶和华，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立好。许多曾见过旧殿的年长的祭司、利未人和族长看见这殿的根基，不禁放声大哭，也有很多人高声欢呼。人们无法分辨是痛哭声还是欢呼声，因为众人都大声呼喊，声音传到远处。

使他们都合而为一，正如父你在我里面，我在你里面一样，并且使他们也在我们里面，好让世人相信是你差我来的。

但是我有比约翰更大的见证，因为父交待我去完成的工作，就是我现在所做的工作，证明我是父差来的。差我来的父曾亲自为我做过见证。你们从未听过祂的声音，从未见过祂，

上帝差祂的儿子到世上来，不是要定世人的罪，而是要借着祂的儿子拯救世人。

万军之耶和华说，祂在彰显荣耀之后要差遣我去那些掳掠你们的国家，因为谁侵害你们，就是侵害祂的瞳仁。看啊，祂要挥手攻击他们，使他们被自己的奴隶掳掠。那时你们便知道是万军之耶和华差遣了我。

到那天，许多国家都要归向耶和华，做祂的子民。祂要住在你里面。那时，你便知道是万军之耶和华差遣我到你们这里来的。

就算我判断人，我的判断也是正确的，因为我不是独自一人，还有差我来的父与我同在。你们的律法不是说两个人做见证就有效吗？我是自己为自己做见证，差我来的父也为我做见证。”

定睛仰望为我们的信心创始成终的耶稣。祂为了摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。

你们到我跟前来听吧。我一开始就没有暗地里说话，事情发生的时候，我就在场。”现在主耶和华差遣我和祂的灵来。

我告诉你，你是彼得，我要在这磐石上建立我的教会，阴间的势力不能胜过它。

远方的人也要来建造耶和华的殿。那时你们便知道是万军之耶和华差遣我到你们这里来的。你们若全心遵从你们上帝耶和华的话，这事就必成就。
