So he told me,“ They are Zerubbabel and Joshua. The Lord of the whole earth has anointed them to serve him.”

Then he said,“ These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then he said to me,“ They represent the two anointed ones who stand in the court of the Lord of all the earth.”

“ These are the two anointed ones,” he said,“ who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then he said,“ These are the two anointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

“ These are the two anointed ones,” he said,“ who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then said he, These[ are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

So he said,“ These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said:“ Is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over His inheritance?

“ Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And I will make your hooves bronze; You shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the Lord, And their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.And the Lord said to Satan,“ The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying,“ Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said,“ See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”And I said,“ Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.

So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said,“ Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!”Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

Now the Lord said to Samuel,“ How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.”

You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to Me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”

And the angel answered and said to me,“ These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their station before the Lord of all the earth.

Why?” says the Lord of hosts.“ Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house.Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit.For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the Lord.

And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”’
