For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After glory hath he sent me unto the nations which plundered you; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

萬軍之耶和華這樣說，為了他的榮耀，他派遣我敵對那些擄奪你們的國家，因為那碰你們的，就是碰他眼中的瞳人。

萬軍之耶和華有言、為彰其榮、遣我至虜爾之邦、犯爾者、即犯其眸子也、

我萬有之主耶和華曰、儀容赫奕、既經顯著、耶和華特遣予督責虜爾之民、凡犯爾者、與犯其眸子無異、

蓋萬有之主如是以命焉、主許以顯榮之後、遣我就刼掠爾之諸國、以責之、凡犯爾者、即犯其眸子、

For this is what the Lord Almighty says:“ After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you— for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye—

The Lord rules over all. His angel says to Israel,“ The Glorious One has sent me to punish the nations that have robbed you of everything. That’s because anyone who hurts you hurts those the Lord loves and guards.

For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye:

After a period of glory, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me against the nations who plundered you. For he said,“ Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession.

For the LORD of Armies says this:“ In pursuit of his glory, he sent me against the nations plundering you, for whoever touches you touches the pupil of my eye.

For the Lord of armies says this:“ After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

For thus says the Lord of hosts:“ He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

For the Lord of Hosts says this:“ He has sent Me for His glory against the nations who are plundering you, for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

For the LORD who rules over all says to me that for his own glory he has sent me to the nations that plundered you– for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of his eye.

For Yahweh of Armies says:‘ For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

He found him in a desert land, And in the waste howling wilderness; He compassed him about, he cared for him, He kept him as the apple of his eye.

Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.

But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin.He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment upon them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land,and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.Yea, and what are ye to me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? will ye render me a recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head.Forasmuch as ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly precious things,and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem unto the sons of the Grecians, that ye may remove them far from their border;behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own head;and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the men of Sheba, to a nation far off: for Jehovah hath spoken it.

For the violence done to thy brother Jacob, shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that strangers carried away his substance, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.But look not thou on the day of thy brother in the day of his disaster, and rejoice not over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither speak proudly in the day of distress.Enter not into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, look not thou on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither lay ye hands on their substance in the day of their calamity.And stand thou not in the crossway, to cut off those of his that escape; and deliver not up those of his that remain in the day of distress.For the day of Jehovah is near upon all the nations: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee; thy dealing shall return upon thine own head.For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually; yea, they shall drink, and swallow down, and shall be as though they had not been.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

Because thou hast plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder thee, because of men’s blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all that dwell therein.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever.

I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him; I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; from the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord Jehovah hath sent me, and his Spirit.

And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee; they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar; and I will glorify the house of my glory.Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Jehovah thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.And foreigners shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favor have I had mercy on thee.Thy gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.For that nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir- tree, the pine, and the box- tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Tyre, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole people to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel;therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am Jehovah.

And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: and he shall deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our border.

And God said unto him in the dream, Yea, I know that in the integrity of thy heart thou hast done this, and I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye see our desire upon Zion.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;

Israel is a hunted sheep; the lions have driven him away: first, the king of Assyria devoured him; and now at last Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

And Jehovah sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake by his servants the prophets.

Because thou hast had a perpetual enmity, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;

And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,Saying, Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

As thou didst send me into the world, even so sent I them into the world.

Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hosts.

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath, like a monster, swallowed me up, he hath filled his maw with my delicacies; he hath cast me out.The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and, My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

Son of man, because that Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gate of the peoples; she is turned unto me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad.And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah.

For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me.

And I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease; for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.Therefore thus saith Jehovah: I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies; my house shall be built in it, saith Jehovah of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.

and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, by reason of the multitude of men and cattle therein.For I, saith Jehovah, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.

and he fell upon the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see my desire upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

For the violence done to Lebanon shall cover thee, and the destruction of the beasts, which made them afraid; because of men’s blood, and for the violence done to the land, to the city and to all that dwell therein.

I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.He that loveth me not keepeth not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not unto one of these least, ye did it not unto me.
