“ Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord,“ for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the Lord.

“ Israel, I have scattered you,” announces the Lord.“ I have used the power of the four winds of heaven to do it. Come quickly! Run away from the land of the north,” announces the Lord.

Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north, declares the Lord. For I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, declares the Lord.

The Lord says,“ Come away! Flee from Babylon in the land of the north, for I have scattered you to the four winds.

“ Listen! Listen! Flee from the land of the north”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ for I have scattered you like the four winds of heaven”— this is the LORD’s declaration.

“ You there! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord,“ because I have spread you out like the four winds of the heavens,” declares the Lord.

“ Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the Lord;“ for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord.

Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, saith Jehovah; for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, saith Jehovah.

“ Get up! Leave the land of the north”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ for I have scattered you like the four winds of heaven”— this is the Lord’s declaration.

Ho, ho,[ come forth], and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

“ You there! Flee from the northland!” says the LORD,“ for like the four winds of heaven I have scattered you,” says the LORD.

Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh;‘ for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh.

All his choice troops will fall by the sword, and the survivors will be scattered to the winds. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken.

“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’

Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. Send it out to the ends of the earth; say,“ The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.”

“ Hear the word of the Lord, you nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands:‘ He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’

Then I heard another voice from heaven say:“‘ Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

“ Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!”

Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house.But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods— gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.

As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said,“ Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

In those days the people of Judah will join the people of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your ancestors as an inheritance.

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“ I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”Therefore,“ Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

“ For I will give the command, and I will shake the people of Israel among all the nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble will reach the ground.

You who have escaped the sword, leave and do not linger! Remember the Lord in a distant land, and call to mind Jerusalem.”

I will scatter to the winds all those around him— his staff and all his troops— and I will pursue them with drawn sword.“ They will know that I am the Lord, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.

“ Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord’s vengeance; he will repay her what she deserves.

See, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return.

The Lord said to me,“ From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.

A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.

“ Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

I will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah did in Jerusalem.

“ Come out of her, my people! Run for your lives! Run from the fierce anger of the Lord.

“ Flee out of Babylon; leave the land of the Babylonians, and be like the goats that lead the flock.

Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat down there just as the guardian- redeemer he had mentioned came along. Boaz said,“ Come over here, my friend, and sit down.” So he went over and sat down.
