But I( the LORD says) will be a wall of fire surrounding Jerusalem and the source of glory in her midst.’”

耶和華曰、我必為其四周之火垣、且為其中之榮、

耶和華曰、我必扞衛斯邑、若四周有火、若中央赫奕。

主曰、我必於四周護衛斯邑、猶如火城、必在其中彰顯榮耀、

And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will be its glory within.’

And I myself will be like a wall of fire around it,’ announces the Lord.‘ I will be the city’s glory.’

And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

Then I, myself, will be a protective wall of fire around Jerusalem, says the Lord. And I will be the glory inside the city!’”

The declaration of the LORD:“ I myself will be a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory within it.”

But I,’ declares the Lord,‘ will be a wall of fire to her on all sides, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ”

For I,’ says the Lord,‘ will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

For I, saith Jehovah, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.

The declaration of the Lord:“ I will be a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory within it.”

For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

For I,’ says Yahweh,‘ will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.

Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over its convocations a cloud and smoke by day and a bright flame of fire by night; indeed a canopy will accompany the LORD’s glorious presence.

Then I will surround my temple to protect it like a guard from anyone crossing back and forth; so no one will cross over against them anymore as an oppressor, for now I myself have seen it.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

Sounds of violence will no longer be heard in your land, or the sounds of destruction and devastation within your borders. You will name your walls,‘ Deliverance,’ and your gates,‘ Praise.’The sun will no longer supply light for you by day, nor will the moon’s brightness shine on you; the LORD will be your permanent source of light– the splendor of your God will shine upon you.

But you, LORD, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me.

I will also shake up all the nations, and they will offer their treasures; then I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD who rules over all.‘ The silver and gold will be mine,’ says the LORD who rules over all.‘ The future splendor of this temple will be greater than that of former times,’ the LORD who rules over all declares,‘ and in this place I will give peace.’”

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.

The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector!( Selah)Come! Witness the exploits of the LORD, who brings devastation to the earth!He brings an end to wars throughout the earth; he shatters the bow and breaks the spear; he burns the shields with fire.He says,“ Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”The LORD who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector!( Selah)

And there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will worship him,and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

God is in its fortresses; he reveals himself as its defender.

a light, for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.”

So he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.The city possesses the glory of God; its brilliance is like a precious jewel, like a stone of crystal- clear jasper.

At that time this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city! The LORD’s deliverance, like walls and a rampart, makes it secure.Open the gates so a righteous nation can enter– one that remains trustworthy.

Instead the LORD will rule there as our mighty king. Rivers and wide streams will flow through it; no war galley will enter; no large ships will sail through.

Walk around Zion! Encircle it! Count its towers!
