“ Where are you going?” I asked. He replied,“ I am going to measure Jerusalem, to see how wide and how long it is.”

我问：“你到哪里去？”他对我说：“要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多宽多长。”

我问：“你到哪里去？”他对我说：“要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多宽多长。”

于是我问：“你要去哪里？”他回答说：“去丈量耶路撒冷，看看有多宽多长。”

我问他：“你到哪里去？”他对我说：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多宽，有多长。”

我說：「你往哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

我問：「你到哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

我問：「你到哪裏去？」他對我說：「要去丈量耶路撒冷，看有多寬多長。」

於是我問：「你要去哪裡？」他回答說：「去丈量耶路撒冷，看看有多寬多長。」

我問他：“你到哪裡去？”他對我說：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多寬，有多長。”

我說：『你往哪裏去？』他對我說：『要去量量耶路撒冷，看有多寬，有多長。』

我問：「你要去哪裡呢？」他回答我：「我要去測量耶路撒冷，看看它有多寬，有多長。」

我曰、爾將何之、曰、往度耶路撒冷、而視其長廣、

我曰、爾將何之、曰、欲量度耶路撒冷、知其長廣。

我曰、爾何往、對我曰、欲量度耶路撒冷、視廣幾何、長幾何、

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.”

“ Where are you going?” I asked.“ To measure Jerusalem,” he answered.“ I want to find out how wide and how long it is.”

Then I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem to determine its width and length.”

So I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.”

So I said,“ Where are you going?” And he said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He answered me,“ To measure Jerusalem to determine its width and length.”

Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what[ is] the breadth thereof, and what[ is] the length thereof.

I asked,“ Where are you going?” He replied,“ To measure Jerusalem in order to determine its width and its length.”

Then I asked,“ Where are you going?” He said to me,“ To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”

“ Adjacent to the larger sacred area will be a section of land 8 1/3 miles long and 1 2/3 miles wide. This will be set aside for a city where anyone in Israel can live.

A measuring line will be stretched out over the hill of Gareb and across to Goah.

The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles.Then he measured the walls and found them to be 216 feet thick( according to the human standard used by the angel).

“ But now I am going away to the one who sent me, and not one of you is asking where I am going.

“ These will be the exits to the city: On the north wall, which is 1 1/2 miles long,there will be three gates, each one named after a tribe of Israel. The first will be named for Reuben, the second for Judah, and the third for Levi.On the east wall, also 1 1/2 miles long, the gates will be named for Joseph, Benjamin, and Dan.The south wall, also 1 1/2 miles long, will have gates named for Simeon, Issachar, and Zebulun.And on the west wall, also 1 1/2 miles long, the gates will be named for Gad, Asher, and Naphtali.“ The distance around the entire city will be 6 miles. And from that day the name of the city will be‘ The Lord Is There.’”

“ Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel.

As he brought me nearer, I saw a man whose face shone like bronze standing beside a gateway entrance. He was holding in his hand a linen measuring cord and a measuring rod.

Then I was given a measuring stick, and I was told,“ Go and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers.

“ An additional strip of land 8 1/3 miles long by 1 2/3 miles wide, south of the sacred Temple area, will be allotted for public use— homes, pasturelands, and common lands, with a city at the center.The city will measure 1 1/2 miles on each side— north, south, east, and west.Open lands will surround the city for 150 yards in every direction.
