You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

The people will run away through that mountain valley. It will reach all the way to Azel. They’ll run away just as they ran from the earthquake when Uzziah was king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come. All the holy ones will come with him.

And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal. Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all his holy ones with him.

And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, And all the saints with You.

And ye shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and Jehovah my God shall come, and all the holy ones with thee.

Then you will escape through my mountain valley, for the mountains will extend to Azal. Indeed, you will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come with all his holy ones with him.

You shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azel; yes, you shall flee, just like you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Yahweh my God will come, and all the holy ones with you.

The words of Amos, who was one of the sheep breeders from Tekoa— what he saw regarding Israel in the days of King Uzziah of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

“ When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

It was about these that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied:“ Look! The Lord comes with tens of thousands of his holy onesto execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly concerning all the ungodly acts that they have done in an ungodly way, and concerning all the harsh things ungodly sinners have said against him.”

Look, the LORD will come with fire— his chariots are like the whirlwind— to execute his anger with fury and his rebuke with flames of fire.For the LORD will execute judgment on all humanity with his fiery sword, and many will be slain by the LORD.

For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each according to what he has done.

you will be punished by the LORD of Armies with thunder, earthquake, and loud noise, storm, tempest, and a flame of consuming fire.

Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

“ As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of his head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.A river of fire was flowing, coming out from his presence. Thousands upon thousands served him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was convened, and the books were opened.“ I watched, then, because of the sound of the arrogant words the horn was speaking. As I continued watching, the beast was killed and its body destroyed and given over to the burning fire.As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was removed, but an extension of life was granted to them for a certain period of time.I continued watching in the night visions, and suddenly one like a son of man was coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.He was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, so that those of every people, nation, and language should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will not be destroyed.

and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of his mouth and will bring him to nothing at the appearance of his coming.

before the LORD, for he is coming— for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his faithfulness.

At that moment a violent earthquake took place, a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake. The survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

May he make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. Amen.

and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels,when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strengthon that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.“ Immediately after the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.

His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD— at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.The heavens proclaim his righteousness; all the peoples see his glory.

There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. And a severe earthquake occurred like no other since people have been on the earth, so great was the quake.The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; he gave her the cup filled with the wine of his fierce anger.Every island fled, and the mountains disappeared.Enormous hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell from the sky on people, and they blasphemed God for the plague of hail because that plague was extremely severe.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.He will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world righteously and the peoples fairly.

He said: The LORD came from Sinai and appeared to them from Seir; he shone on them from Mount Paran and came with ten thousand holy ones, with lightning from his right hand for them.

And they said to the mountains and to the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,because the great day of their wrath has come! And who is able to stand?”

Come quickly, all you surrounding nations; gather yourselves. Bring down your warriors there, LORD.

If only you would tear the heavens open and come down, so that mountains would quake at your presence—just as fire kindles brushwood, and fire boils water— to make your name known to your enemies, so that nations would tremble at your presence!When you did awesome works that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.

You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord’s coming is near.

While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said,“ Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

As I was watching, this horn waged war against the holy ones and was prevailing over themuntil the Ancient of Days arrived and a judgment was given in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, for the time had come, and the holy ones took possession of the kingdom.“ This is what he said:‘ The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, different from all the other kingdoms. It will devour the whole earth, trample it down, and crush it.The ten horns are ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another king, different from the previous ones, will rise after them and subdue three kings.He will speak words against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High. He will intend to change religious festivals and laws, and the holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time.But the court will convene, and his dominion will be taken away, to be completely destroyed forever.The kingdom, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the holy ones of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey him.’

At their cries, all the people of Israel who were around them fled because they thought,“ The earth may swallow us too!”
