Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles.

But some people from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will still be left alive. All of them will go up there to worship the King. He is the Lord who rules over all. Year after year these people will celebrate the Feast of Booths.

Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.

In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Festival of Booths.

And it shall come to pass,[ that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Armies, and to keep the feast of booths.

Camel caravans will cover your roads, young camels from Midian and Ephah. All the merchants of Sheba will come, bringing gold and incense and singing praises to the LORD.All the sheep of Kedar will be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth will be available to you as sacrifices. They will go up on my altar acceptably, and I will bestow honor on my majestic temple.Who are these who float along like a cloud, who fly like doves to their shelters?Indeed, the coastlands look eagerly for me, the large ships are in the lead, bringing your sons from far away, along with their silver and gold, to honor the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has bestowed honor on you.

From one month to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to worship me,” says the LORD.

“ I hate their deeds and thoughts! So I am coming to gather all the nations and ethnic groups; they will come and witness my splendor.I will perform a mighty act among them and then send some of those who remain to the nations– to Tarshish, Pul, Lud( known for its archers), Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands that have not heard about me or seen my splendor. They will tell the nations of my splendor.They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the LORD. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to my holy hill Jerusalem,” says the LORD,“ just as the Israelites bring offerings to the LORD’s temple in ritually pure containers.And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD.

He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh:“ King of kings and Lord of lords.”

The LORD who rules over all says,‘ It will someday come to pass that people– residents of many cities– will come.The inhabitants of one will go to another and say,“ Let’s go up at once to ask the favor of the LORD, to seek the LORD who rules over all. Indeed, I’ll go with you.”’Many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the LORD who rules over all and to ask his favor.The LORD who rules over all says,‘ In those days ten people from all languages and nations will grasp hold of– indeed, grab– the robe of one Jew and say,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”

You must celebrate the Festival of Temporary Shelters for seven days, at the time of the grain and grape harvest.You are to rejoice in your festival, you, your son, your daughter, your male and female slaves, the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows who are in your villages.You are to celebrate the festival seven days before the LORD your God in the place he chooses, for he will bless you in all your productivity and in whatever you do; so you will indeed rejoice!Three times a year all your males must appear before the LORD your God in the place he chooses for the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Temporary Shelters; and they must not appear before him empty-handed.

So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

But if any of the nations anywhere on earth refuse to go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD who rules over all, they will get no rain.If the Egyptians will not do so, they will get no rain– instead there will be the kind of plague which the LORD inflicts on any nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.This will be the punishment of Egypt and of all nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!”

Moab will be destroyed. Its towns will be invaded. Its finest young men will be slaughtered. I, the King, the LORD who rules over all, affirm it!

“ I am the LORD your God who brought you out of Egypt; I will make you live in tents again as in the days of old.

“‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gather in the produce of the land, you must celebrate a pilgrim festival of the LORD for seven days. On the first day is a complete rest and on the eighth day is complete rest.On the first day you must take for yourselves branches from majestic trees– palm branches, branches of leafy trees, and willows of the brook– and you must rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.You must celebrate it as a pilgrim festival to the LORD for seven days in the year. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you must celebrate it in the seventh month.You must live in temporary shelters for seven days; every native citizen in Israel must live in temporary shelters,so that your future generations may know that I made the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.’”

It will so happen that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be delivered. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the LORD has promised; the remnant will be those whom the LORD will call.

They observed the Festival of Temporary Shelters as required and offered the proper number of daily burnt offerings according to the requirement for each day.

Now the Jewish feast of Tabernacles was near.

“ I will make her officials and wise men drunk, along with her governors, leaders, and warriors. They will fall asleep forever and never wake up,” says the King whose name is the LORD who rules over all.

They discovered written in the law that the LORD had commanded through Moses that the Israelites should live in temporary shelters during the festival of the seventh month,and that they should make a proclamation and disseminate this message in all their cities and in Jerusalem:“ Go to the hill country and bring back olive branches and branches of wild olive trees, myrtle trees, date palms, and other leafy trees to construct temporary shelters, as it is written.”So the people went out and brought these things back and constructed temporary shelters for themselves, each on his roof and in his courtyard and in the courtyards of the temple of God and in the plaza of the Water Gate and the plaza of the Ephraim Gate.So all the assembly which had returned from the exile constructed temporary shelters and lived in them. The Israelites had not done so from the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day. Everyone experienced very great joy.Ezra read in the book of the law of God day by day, from the first day to the last. They observed the festival for seven days, and on the eighth day they held an assembly as was required.

“‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work, and you must keep a festival to the LORD for seven days.You must offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the LORD: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs each one year old, all of them without blemish.Their grain offering must be of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil, three-tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths of an ephah for each of the two rams,and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the second day you must offer twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and their drink offerings.“‘ On the third day you must offer eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the fourth day you must offer ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the fifth day you must offer nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the sixth day you must offer eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the seventh day you must offer seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs one year old, all without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.“‘ On the eighth day you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work on it.But you must offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to the LORD, one bull, one ram, seven lambs one year old, all of them without blemish,and with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, according to their number as prescribed,along with one male goat for a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering with its grain offering and its drink offering.

As a result God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow– in heaven and on earth and under the earth–and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

And what if he is willing to make known the wealth of his glory on the objects of mercy that he has prepared beforehand for glory–even us, whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

At that time Solomon and all Israel with him celebrated a festival for seven days. This great assembly included people from Lebo Hamath in the north to the Brook of Egypt in the south.On the eighth day they held an assembly, for they had dedicated the altar for seven days and celebrated the festival for seven more days.On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, Solomon sent the people home. They left happy and contented because of the good the LORD had done for David, Solomon, and his people Israel.

If the first portion of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy, and if the root is holy, so too are the branches.

“ Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“ The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

He observed the daily requirements for sacrifices that Moses had specified for Sabbaths, new moon festivals, and the three annual celebrations– the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Temporary Shelters.

I said,“ Too bad for me! I am destroyed, for my lips are contaminated by sin, and I live among people whose lips are contaminated by sin. My eyes have seen the king, the LORD who commands armies.”

He commanded them:“ At the end of seven years, at the appointed time of the cancellation of debts, at the Feast of Temporary Shelters,when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God in the place he chooses, you must read this law before them within their hearing.Gather the people– men, women, and children, as well as the resident foreigners in your villages– so they may hear and thus learn about and fear the LORD your God and carefully obey all the words of this law.Then their children, who have not known this law, will also hear about and learn to fear the LORD your God for as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

The LORD spoke to Moses:“ Tell the Israelites,‘ On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Temporary Shelters for seven days to the LORD.On the first day is a holy assembly; you must do no regular work.For seven days you must present a gift to the LORD. On the eighth day there is to be a holy assembly for you, and you must present a gift to the LORD. It is a solemn assembly day; you must not do any regular work.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”Then the twenty- four elders who are seated on their thrones before God threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and worshiped Godwith these words:“ We give you thanks, Lord God, the All- Powerful, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun to reign.

Just then a major earthquake took place and a tenth of the city collapsed; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

I the King, whose name is the LORD who rules over all, swear this: I swear as surely as I live that a conqueror is coming. He will be as imposing as Mount Tabor is among the mountains, as Mount Carmel is against the backdrop of the sea.

I will take away their abominable religious practices; then those who survive will become a community of believers in our God, like a clan in Judah, and Ekron will be like the Jebusites.

Look up, you gates! Rise up, you eternal doors! Then the majestic king will enter!Who is this majestic king? The LORD who is strong and mighty! The LORD who is mighty in battle!Look up, you gates! Rise up, you eternal doors! Then the majestic king will enter!Who is this majestic king? The LORD who commands armies! He is the majestic king!( Selah)

“ There will be harsh condemnation for the hypocrite who has a valuable male animal in his flock but vows and sacrifices something inferior to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and my name is awesome among the nations.”

so that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, namely, all the Gentiles I have called to be my own,’ says the Lord, who makes these things

On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, andlet the one who believes in me drink. Just as the scripture says,‘ From within him will flow rivers of living water.’”( Now he said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
