They did not repent and give him glory.The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguishand cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs.For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.(“ Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”)And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying,“ It is done!”And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake.The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found.And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

The Lord will strike you with wasting disease and with fever, inflammation and fiery heat, and with drought and with blight and with mildew. They shall pursue you until you perish.

Now many nations are assembled against you, saying,“ Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.”But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them as sheaves to the threshing floor.Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze; you shall beat in pieces many peoples; and shall devote their gain to the Lord, their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth.

Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.

Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead,“ Come, gather for the great supper of God,to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.”And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army.And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire,

But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God, my wrath will be roused in my anger.For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur.

And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.

And after all this the Lord struck him in his bowels with an incurable disease.In the course of time, at the end of two years, his bowels came out because of the disease, and he died in great agony. His people made no fire in his honor, like the fires made for his fathers.

The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.

Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed.As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says,‘ I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; they shall lay their hands on their mouths; their ears shall be deaf;they shall lick the dust like a serpent, like the crawling things of the earth; they shall come trembling out of their strongholds; they shall turn in dread to the Lord our God, and they shall be in fear of you.

then I will do this to you: I will visit you with panic, with wasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and make the heart ache. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, which, when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

And if in spite of this you will not listen to me, then I will discipline you again sevenfold for your sins,
