It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

People will live in it. Jerusalem will never be destroyed again. It will be secure.

And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security.

And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.

People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will live in security.

The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more curse; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.

People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

And[ men] shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

And people will settle there, and there will no longer be the threat of divine extermination– Jerusalem will dwell in security.

Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but Jerusalem will dwell safely.

No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.

“ The days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.

and said to him:“ Run, tell that young man,‘ Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it.

I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.”

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.

Judah will be inhabited forever and Jerusalem through all generations.

“‘ In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land.In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the name by which it will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.’

I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lord have spoken.“‘ I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of savage beasts so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety.I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.

“ As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord,“ so will your name and descendants endure.

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.

In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.

I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

‘ He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

“ Then you will know that I, the Lord your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her.

No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown, and all the terraces out to the Kidron Valley on the east as far as the corner of the Horse Gate, will be holy to the Lord. The city will never again be uprooted or demolished.”

The Lord listened to Israel’s plea and gave the Canaanites over to them. They completely destroyed them and their towns; so the place was named Hormah.
