The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.

The whole land south of Jerusalem will be changed. From Geba to Rimmon it will become like the Arabah Valley. But Jerusalem will be raised up high. It will be raised from the Benjamin Gate to the First Gate to the Corner Gate. It will be raised from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. And it will remain in its place.

The whole land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem shall remain aloft on its site from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the former gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.

『當那日、我必使猶大族系如火盆在木柴中，如火把在禾捆裏；他們必向右延燒、向左延燒、燬滅四圍列族之民；而耶路撒冷則必仍居其本處、平平安安。

利巴勿、實忻、亞因臨門：共二十九座城，還有屬這些城的村莊。

『永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必恢復雅各家的故業，我必憐憫他的住處；必有城建造在原舊的山岡上，必有宮堡立在它原立的地方。

於是亞撒王向猶大眾人公布，不准任何人免役，吩咐他們將巴沙修造拉瑪所用的石頭和木料都運走；亞撒王就用那些材料來修造便雅憫的迦巴以及米斯巴。

他到了便雅憫門那裏，有個警衛官、名叫伊利雅，是哈拿尼亞的孫子、示利米雅的兒子，他把神言人耶利米拿住，說：『你，你是在投降迦勒底人哪。』

對他說：『你跑去告訴那邊那青年人，說：『耶路撒冷準會有人居住，像無城牆的鄉村一樣，因為其中有人和牲口很多。

那時大祭司以利亞實和他的同業弟兄做祭司的起來，建造了羊門；他們把這門分別為聖，又安立了它的門扇；又修造了城牆直到哈米亞譙樓，把它分別為聖、直到哈楠業譙樓。

古實人以伯米勒、是個做太監的人、他在王宮、聽見人將耶利米下在井裏——那時王在便雅憫門口坐着——

但是有六百人轉身向曠野逃跑、到臨門的巖石，就在臨門的巖石住了四個月。

其餘的人轉身、向曠野逃跑、到臨門的巖石；以色列人在大路上掃蕩了他們五千人、如同拾取遺穗一樣；直緊追着他們到基頓，又擊殺了他們二千人。

過了以法蓮門、舊城的門、魚門、哈楠業譙樓、哈米亞譙樓，直到羊門，就在護衛監門站住。

以色列王約阿施在伯示麥捉住了亞哈謝的孫子約阿施的兒子猶大王亞瑪謝，將他帶到耶路撒冷，將耶路撒冷的城牆拆個破口，從以法蓮門直到角門，共四百肘。

還有以坦、亞因臨門、陀健、亞珊、五座城，

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，這城必給永恆主重建起來，從哈楠業譙樓直到角門。測量的準繩還要往外量出、直到迦立山，又轉到歌亞。拋屍山谷全部、和倒灰之處、以及一切田園，直到汲淪谿谷，延到東邊馬門的拐角——都必歸永恆主為聖，永遠不再被拔毁，不再傾覆。』

正如神言人以賽亞話語書上所記的、說：『有聲音在野地裏呼喊着說：「要豫備主的道路，造直他的路徑來；一切山谷都要填滿，大山小山都要削低；彎曲的要改直，崎嶇的要改為平路；血肉之人都必看見上帝的拯救。」』

『當那日、我必重新建立大衛倒壞的幕棚，築牆堵住它的破口；我必重新建立它的廢墟，再建造它、像古日一樣；

以色列人又從便雅憫支派的產業中給了他們基遍和屬基遍的牧場，迦巴和屬迦巴的牧場，

他們過了隘口，在迦巴露營；拉瑪人發顫，掃羅的基比亞人逃走。

他應聲告訴我說：『這是永恆主的話、向所羅巴伯說的：萬軍之永恆主說；不是依靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，乃是倚靠我的靈。大山哪，你算得甚麼？在所羅巴伯面前你必成為平地；他必搬出一塊頂上石頭，就有歡呼聲說：「它多壯觀！壯觀啊！」』

在曠野有聲音呼喊着說：『要豫備永恆主的道路，要在原野修平我們的上帝的大路。一切山窪都要填高，大山小山都要削低，高高低低的要改為平坦，崎崎嶇嶇的要修成為平原。

其餘的利未人、米拉利的子孫從西布倫支派的產業中分得的、是臨摩挪和屬臨摩挪的牧場，他泊和屬他泊的牧場。

在末後的日子、永恆主之殿的山必堅立於萬山之頂，必高聳過眾岡陵；萬國都必流歸於這山。

全會眾打發人去跟那些在臨門巖石的便雅憫人談判，將和平的意思向他們宣告明白。
