The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.

王宮內有宦官、古實人以伯米勒、聞人下耶利米於坑、知王坐於便雅憫門、

六百人望野而逃、至臨門磐、居臨門磐、歷四月、

其餘逃於野、至臨門磐、以色列人在大道上、又殺五千人、如穡後拾遺穗然、追至基頓、又殺二千人、

過以法蓮門、舊門、魚門、哈拿業之戍樓、米亞之戍樓、至羊門、至獄門而止、

以色列王約阿施在伯示麥、擒約哈斯約哈斯即亞哈謝孫約阿施子猶大王亞瑪謝、攜至耶路撒冷、毀耶路撒冷城垣、自以法蓮門至城隅之門、共四百尺、

其鄉里乃以探、亞因、臨門、陀健、亞珊、共五處、

主曰、時日將至、斯邑必為我名復建、自哈楠業戍樓、至邑隅之門、人亦用繩、前往量度、至迦立岡、又轉至歌亞、屍之遍谷、與傾灰之所、及諸田疇、至汲淪溪、又至東方馬門之隅、俱為聖地、以歸於我、我原文作主不復拆毀、不復傾圮、至於永遠、

如先知以賽亞書載云、野有聲呼曰、備主道、直其徑、諸谷必填、岡陵必卑、屈曲使直、崎嶇使平、凡有血氣者、必得見天主拯救云、

當是日大衛已傾頽之室、室原文作幕我必復起之、彌補其隙、復起其圮毀之垣、垣或作處而再建之、與古時無異、

又在便雅憫支派中、予之基遍與其郊、迦巴與其郊、

過隘口、宿於迦巴、拉瑪人驚惶、掃羅之基比亞人遁逃、

彼謂我曰、其意即主所諭所羅巴伯云、萬有之主曰、非以勢、非以能、乃以我之神也、非以勢非以能乃以我之神也或作非恃能非恃力乃恃我之神事始能成爾於所羅巴伯前之巨山、何足稱道、必變為平地、彼取首石、人必歡呼云、恩寵必降其上、恩寵必降其上原文作恩寵恩寵歸之
