For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them.“ It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Today you have proclaimed the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in His ways and keep His statutes, His commandments, and His judgments, and that you will obey His voice.Also today the Lord has proclaimed you to be His special people, just as He promised you, that you should keep all His commandments,and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken.”

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;

‘ You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’”

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap.He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs.You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

“ I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, Because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; For I am the Lord their God, And I will hear them.

“ It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer,” says the Lord;“ I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth.The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel.Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people,‘ You are My people!’ And they shall say,‘ You are my God!’”

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,“ Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

“ And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.For“ whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests the hearts.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.’

Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!

that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the Lord.’”

“ Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant, And Israel whom I have chosen.Thus says the Lord who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you:‘ Fear not, O Jacob My servant; And you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;They will spring up among the grass Like willows by the watercourses.’One will say,‘ I am the LORD’s’; Another will call himself by the name of Jacob; Another will write with his hand,‘ The LORD’s,’ And name himself by the name of Israel.“ Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:‘ I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say,‘ Here I am.’“ If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

They shall be My people, and I will be their God;

Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
